Libratone Zipp 2 Wirelwss Wi-Fi Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa Built-in, Streaming Online Music, Smart Home Control, Premium Sound with Enhanced Bass, 12 Hour Playtime-Pine Green

Review is for the Zipp2 (larger size). Our use is primarily outside on the patio. One of the few portable speakers with wifi, airplay and Alexa built in. Allows us to control some of our home automation without having to come inside. Truly a unique speaker inside and out. The app is user friendly and easy to adjust settings for the sound and functionality. The sound is about what you expect for a speaker in this price range and size. Overall the sound is very good. Before you dislike the sound, make sure to adjust both the Room Setting and Voicing setting. The build quality seems great and very high end. Only downside could be it’s size if you plan to throw in a purse. For that I recommend the zipp mini. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

I make Amazon Music playlists (several) on my laptop of chosen songs like a DJ. I have the Libratone app and the Amazon Music app on my phone. Take the Libratone into the garage or patio and select the playlist on my phone to play music (like a concert hall). I have Boze equipment in my home but the sheer volume and continued quality of the music on the Libratone is just superior!

Excellent all in one speaker, especially for existing HomePod users. I bought this mainly for entertaining outside on the patio. I wanted to have the music playing to all the HomePods in the house along with this speaker outside where the WiFi would reach. Works great! It’s a nice touch to have the music indoors and outdoors over AirPlay 2. Battery life is also incredible! Used it all day once and still had 75% battery remaining! Sound quality is also great. Very similar to the HomePod. I highly recommend this product! I don’t get what the zipper is for though lol.

Great sound at all volume levels, Works great with all my Apple products. Like taking it with me when I move from room to room. Directions are not easy to follow to set up and turning the volume up and down can be frustrating at times.

Very nice speaker. The setup with the app took less than 5 min to connect to my WiFi network and it was immediately available to pair on AirPlay 2 with my HomePod and my Apple TV. I can now have the same music in the kitchen, living room and walk outside with the cordless speaker. The integration with my Apple devices and Apple Music was seamless, so far we love it.The sound is deep and very crisp. Not quite as much bass as the AirPod but the mediums and high are very clean.I also connected it to my Amazon account and played with Alexa a bit. I am more used to Siri but this may prove useful sometime.Overall excellent experience, I recommend.And really thzt’s The only battery driven AirPlay2 speaker which is what I was looking for...

I've tried probably a dozen wireless speakers over the past several years and I have to say, this is is by far the best value for your money. Not only does it sound fantastic, but the various inputs (Bluetooth, Airplay 2, AUX, USB) make this virtually future proof.I personally love the Airplay 2 functionality. Combined with superb battery life (12 hours!), this makes setting up a house for a party or just sitting back and being immersed in music crazy easy to do. The only drawback is it's not waterproof... but not sure if that matters so much TBH.All this functionality at this price point make this the best wireless speaker by far -- much better value than a HomePod (of which I have three, purchased before my ZIPPs!)

I hope I received a defective speaker, otherwise it's a terrible product. The longest it held a signal was 31 seconds, so songs were cutting out constantly. I tried all of the troubleshooting tips online and contacted Libratone customer support, which took a week to get a response telling me to do what I had already done. Amazon customer service was excellent and offered to replace the device, but I chose to return instead since I want nothing to do with this brand.

The Zipp2 has been a nice addition to my AirPlay setup. The sound quality is good, but the portability is what sets this speaker apart. Now, I can play on all speakers and also bring the Zipp2 with me when I'm in areas that are not set up with AirPlay (Patio, laundry room, etc.).The Libratone customer support is also top-notch. Although I ordered grey, I received a black speaker. Using the Libratone app, I contacted the Support line, and someone contacted me the next day to take care of the problem. They were very responsive and accommodating.
