As a chef, I know a thi g or two about kitchen knives and this ones a great one!I got this as a gift for a family member, old bread knife was rubbish. This is a fantastic knife, comfortable to hold, has a good weight and balance, cuts very nicely and has a very nice wooden handle and textured blade making it loon good too!In fact, it's so effective that it's replaced not only our old bread knife, but our carving knife too.Great product, very fair price, highly recommended!

I purchased this knife for slicing bread. As claimed by the makers. it is what it say's on the tin. A good solidly built knife. Comfortable to use and very sharp. It is made from good quality materials and made well. I bought another more expensive and longer knife at the same time I purchased this one. I keep that one for bread and use this one for general use and boy!! It is good and keeps its edge. I am more pleased with this knife than the more expensive one I bought. Never be afraid to buy one of these knifes. I can highly recommend them.

We needed a bread knife with a longer blade and this knife fitted our needs perfectly.*Handle feels great in the hand.*Nice balance.*Long reach for extended cutting action.*Sharp.*Great value overall!And... if you want to use just one knife on the hop - it's long reach and sharp blade makes it good for cutting vegetables and meat cuts that require a serrated blade.

Great bread knife after our old one was sacrificed to the garden gods to cut turf (highly recommend a bread knife for this!) A very attractive knife and cuts bread smoothly without squashing. Nice weight to it too. As the handle is wood, it was really smooth and nicely finished except one minor and small rough patch. Easy to resolve ourselves, but a star removed for that reason. Absolute bargain bought on offer!

Lovely knife, well worth the money and I like the wooden handle. I just wish instructions were included on how to sharpen a serrated blade when necessary. I don’t have a clue.

High quality product, well weighted, single piece of steel runs right from the blade through the entirety of the handle.

Used this knife for bread and vegetables. The serrated edge is quite coarse (widely spaced) so I don't find it absolutely ideal for my purpose and the blade is quite thick. A useful knife for my collection but a bit on the heavy side and drags a bit through the sourdough I make.
