Needs clearer product description
I anyone who has a lot of experience buying wire rope and its accessories would be able to read this product page and know what they're getting, and know how to read between the lines. I am not one of those people. First, know that each of the two channels in these ferrules is 1/4" ID. That might have affected my decision, if the description had included this information. Part of the problem (my problem) was that sellers of coated wire rope seem to over-estimate how thick the coating is. If you're ordering cable and ferrules at the same time, know that a 1/16" cable coated in vinyl is probably not going to have a 3/16" outer diameter. I saw that figure in several listings. The coated wire I got was slightly less than 1/8". The 3/16" figure is probably based on the thickness of insulated (electrical) coating, and they just copied/pasted throughout the product descriptions. Keep that in mind when selecting your ferrule size. I should have just bought 1/16" ferrules without allowing for the wire's coating. Finally, you need to have very strong hands to crimp these ferrules in one try with a pair of ordinary pliers (seller hints at this in the intro). I used 10" vice grips and I had to crimp these in several increments, tightening the jaws a little each time. Get one of the high-torque crimping tools rated for duplex ferrules. (I still had to do that with the smaller ferrules I bought later).

small for atv winch cable. But got it to work
These are just a little small for 3/16 cable. Bought these to repair ATV winch cables and my son just could not get the cable through the 2nd time because it is losing space from the first pass. He did not get a perfect cut. I tried it and was able to get it to work. We will see how they hold up.

Great quality and price
These are working out very well with the hand crimping tool I have. Soft enough to mold to the cable nicely but strong and are holding up very well long term out in the winter weather.I use these to make short cable ties that can go around horse corral panels. It works great because I can remove them easily when moving panels but they hold good and strong and look nice. They also have the advantage over chain in that they don't rust or spread corrosion onto panels. I needed a whole bunch of them and this bulk pack is the way to go!

Works fine
One of these allowed the cable to slip out when we were cranking down the cable tightness. But that may have been a rookie crimping mistake on our part since this is the first time we've done anything with this type of crimp. Since then, I've used the entire bag without issue and just ordered another bag to use.

Flexible and solid.
I use a chain cutter to seal these on the cable rope to make loops. They are very easy to manipulate and whole solidly.
