For those with SENSITIVE HEARING this is the Perfect ear plug.
This is the perfect ear plug for softening sounds to ensure sleep.I have very good hearing. It is too good. Whether deep in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, or surrounded in the bustling city of Phoenix, Arizona; perhaps yet to the interspersed suburbs between the moaning farmlands of Oklahoma, or even at the beautiful beaches of California (these are just a few places I've had to use them) they work great in quieting most, and many varied sounds. If it's quieting discordant swarms of breeding locusts or softening the sounds of grating vehicles, or even hushing the sounds of the melodious beaches that, while lovely when I wish to be awake usually prevent me from being able to achieve sleep through the same noise, these ear plugs help me reach that quiet peace that helps me slip into the calm, restful sleep that I desire. All sound works as a deafening cacophony to my sensitive drums. Individual sounds are hard to pick out because of how they all hit me like a tidal wave. This ear plug lets me tone the noise down to a less deafening hum allowing my mind to slip into sleep much easier. These are the softest ear plugs I have tried, too, and I have tried EVERY ear plug at the local stores: about 25 different brands and noise decibel ratings. These are the best to sleep in and I've been using this particular brand for over a decade. These are sold in most stores around the country as I've had to move a lot, and are my preference for comfort. I most particularly prefer this online amount because of how fast I go through them. I like the fact that I can use a fresh, clean pair every other night or every night if desired/needed. This is also great if one of your pair gets lost. The green cases that come with these are most valuable for me as I love to organize and compartmentalize everything! I have one in my purse right now and this one new will hold cotton balls and Qtips for a small first aid kit. The price is cheapest here when there are no sales in town or on the internet. I wouldn't mind if they went down a bit here, too. As it is, I've bought twice from them and will probably do it again when this new order is gone -That only pending on the chance that no sales happen from now until that time.I highly recommend "Quiet Please Foam Ear Plugs" to anyone looking to protect their hearing from every day/night noises or even just for a lovely night's rest.

Bulk plugs seem not as good
These don't last. I have to use a new pair each night so going through these quickly. Before I would order the "25 pair" that came in a box and those would last for 3 nights before I needed to throw out. With these, they don't expand back to original shape like the ones from the 25 pair box. They are also not as comfortable. Harder. Weird because both are "Flents" but the bulk of 100 seem not as well made to me.

The best.
Revised July 14, 2017After being a dedicated happy user for several years (see my earlier review below) the last batch that I ordered December 2016 haven't been very good. They have a strong styrene odor. Some of the volatile organic vapors can be absorbed and cause damage or irritation to the tissues of the outer and middle ear. I plan to have the vapor analyzed. I don't recommend using these because of the potential for vascular and nerve damage to the tissues ot the middle ear.Needless to say I'm disappointed that this brand is now made using a potentially toxic formula. These are the best, especially for folks with larger ear canals. You simply roll the plug between your finger and thumb until a narrow cylinder, insert, and allow to expand. Comfortable for extended wear overnight.

They work, they REALLY work...
They work, they REALLY work...I ordered these to combat being woken up by snoring, and these really, REALLY work! I chose these because I wanted to buy in bulk to save some money, I usually throw out ear plugs after a couple of nights because they pick up dust, ear wax, etc. They totally cut-off all sound, so I wouldn't suggest them if you need to be able to hear an alarm clock or telephone. They feel more substancial than most other ear plugs, but they take a while to conform to your ear. I wouldn't suggest them if you need them for say, an office setting, where you may need to take them out and then replace them throughout the day because of how long they take to re-expand.

NOT UP TO SNUFF
Doesn't do the trick for me so I gave them away ... can't get them in far enough ... no workee for me. So today I got a pair of 4-ribbed Elvex Quattro reusable plugs, and they work GREAT! Just be sure you get them with a CORD, or you may need a pal with a needle nose pliers to get them out.To REALLY stop all sound, get the "3M Peltor H10A Optime 105 Earmuff" for $21.75 Prime. These came today, and I used them at Subway to drown out the loud MUSIC, and they worked like a charm ... silence! So they look goofy on ya ... get the ones that fit BEHIND your head if you're shy.

Best earplugs, best value
I already have a review for these elsewhere at Amazon (one of the smaller packages), but I'll add my voice here as well. I 've been using Flents earplugs for several decades now and can tell you they are simply the best on the market. I've tried every other brand available at my local brick and mortar major chain pharmacy, and haven't found a quieter or more comfortable earplug yet. Not only do they help me sleep (yes, they take the edge off annoying sounds but still let you hear your alarm clocks, etc.), they come in handy at the rifle range too.At this price, you can toss 'em after one use, but if you want to stretch your budget, insert them with the shiny side in one night, and the flat side in the next to get twice the mileage. If you need earplugs, these are the ones to get.
