It's better than the last 3 I've owned, I purchased the 3L. The biggest problem with bladders for me in the past is the nipple, I don't see that'll I'll have issues with this one. I've had this less than a year and will update if the life of this product changes. Having the top piece that is easy enough to put on and take off to clean the bladder is great and it doesn't leak. I really like the mouthpiece set up. The straw is a perfect length for incorporating into a large pack and attaching in ways that is best for your personal preference. The mouthpiece is a "pull and bite" -- so you pull to open the straw (like popping up the mouthpiece of a water bottle) and then bite down to open the flow. Water flows easily considering the length of the straw.
