These are OK for kids but adults will have an issue with the bridge of their nose stopping them from getting close enough to the eye holes to stop light getting in. This means the view can look cloudy. The focus wheel has slack in it so accurately focusing can be a problem. Having said all that they have multi-coated lenses so the image isn't too bad.

Looks great, feel good, but I felt too difficult for a young child of 3 to be able to focus. Also if child only using to mimic parent, then you could probably get similar but more traditional shape. These ones are like adult compact shape. Would prefer 5 or 6x 21 for very young child rather than 8x21 which this is. The colours are bright and fun too. Excellent value for money.

The problem is the right eye adjuster to make the focus sharp for both eyes. It isn't set to be sharp in the middle where you would then adjust going + or - for your own eyesight. It simply doesn't rotate through a sharp point for normal vision. The whole thing is scewed between very off to just off. You end up with the left eye being in focus and at best a slightly blurred right eye which is great if you want to give yourself a headache.

These are really good and strong I bought for a 4 yr old but managing to hold it and control the view button was not suitable for him but i decided to put away until he is 6 yr old I'm sure that age more suitable.

I bought this for my daughter who is partially sighted and can see short distances and struggles to see animals at far away distances in zoos etc. My daughter tried them out and they were no good for her. She was standing right next to me and it looked like she was too far away from me. Really disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend for children with low vision.

These binoculars are fab for little hands but adults can use them too! They were recently used to see crusie ships in the sea where we were camoing and we were able to see people on the boats! Great for looking at the moon too!x

Bought this for my 5 year old, nature loving, grandaughter as a Christmas present. At first look they looked strong and quite funky for a youngster. However they are totally impossible to focus. The focus wheel was stiff and the eyepiece focussing ring even worse. Fortunately I bought them early enough to return.Sorry, but I cannot recommend these.

My 9 yr old daughter wanted some binoculars and as her favourite colour is pink this was a ‘must buy’! Mor robust than I thought and alway has her annoying me with, “Wow dad look!”Overall I’m very pleased as my daughter is.
