How do i change the tips?

You pull straight down and it slides out. Then you slide another in.

Are you supposed to put ink into the pen holder?

You dip the nib into the ink bottle as you would a quill.

How does the owl dip pen , are the nibs for the pen metal?

The nibs are metal, nice and solid. Not sure how well the ink draws, haven’t used it yet.
