Tri - is more triangular in shape. The D is a more comfy fit for me with the rounded side. Whereas the angular shape of the Tri doesn't fit my face as comfortably. **Q: How do you wash it?** A: If there is a stain of some kind, you can "spot-wash" with a cloth. I mix a little soap and water and wet the cloth and scrub gently. I give the entire pillow a spray of Lysol (or other disinfectant) each time I change the linen. If there is another way to wash these types of pillows, I'm unfamiliar with it. Hope that helps. **Q: For short-necked petite people who tried it: was it too wide for your head to reach the center?Was your head pushed too far forward or chin tucked in?** A: Yes, I had the very same issue and this pillow worsened my existing neck issues. There is negligible difference between the two sides in regard to sizing. The photos show much more of a difference in size than it is in person. Of course, this is a non-refundable item and now I’m out the cost of said pillow and still without a solution. This is a cervical pillow company that is more concerned about the size of the headspace than they are with the actual piece of pillow that goes under the cervical spine. Very happy with this purchase and glad I found it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best pillow for side sleeper *by V***A on March 31, 2025* This is the best pillow for side sleepers. It's great for back sleepers, too. Many pillows advertise themselves as appropriate for side AND back sleepers. However, I think it is harder for side sleepers to find a supportive pillow. My experience is that a good side sleeper pillow works fine for back sleepers, but not necessarily vice versa. I'm a side sleeper and have tried the expensive ($150) pillows and the cheap ($20) pillows and everything in between and have a roomful of like-new pillows to show for it. This one is sufficiently high to hold the head level and properly support the neck. The indent in the middle is what helps to keep the head level and pressure off the ear. And you can turn it over and around to find the best fit for you as each side is slightly different. And the price of this one is very reasonable compared to some of the ridiculously-priced pillows (seriously, $150+ for a pillow??!). The pillow is firm but soft, which is what a side sleeper needs. Note that memory foam just doesn't work adequately for side sleepers as it "gives" too much to support the neck no matter how firm it supposedly is in my experience. And the shredded memory foam, which is generally advertised as "adjustable" so that you can fluff it as you like, also fails in my experience because it not only shifts when you want it to, but also shifts when you don't and results in waking with nothing supporting the neck and so a "bent" neck/head. This pillow fits in my standard case, but isn't washable per the instructions. I put a couple of pillow cases on to keep it clean. I will reorder this pillow if/when the current one needs replacement as this is now my go-to pillow. I took off one star, however, as the filling on this one also seems to shift a bit overnight. The manufacturer provides a video on how to move the filling back into place, but I find it somewhat difficult, esp. if arthritis is flaring in my fingers. Accordingly, it would be nice if the manufacturer would provide a zipper on the pillow in order to more easily redistribute the filling. I will note that I solved the problem my own way by folding a small hand towel and placing it between the bottom of the pillow and the pillowcase under the neck area.
