Hi, Does it come with solid blocks of foam or are they blocks of "pick 'n pluck" foam?

They are pick-n-pluck - but there is one solid layer of foam on the very bottom and the inside lid is egg crate foam. Hope this helps.

Yes it will easily fit a 21.5" or a 27" iMac.

Will it fit an imac 27" in original box of 31 x 24 x 6.75? TIA!

If you remove all of the foam, you should be able to fit 2 of those within.
