The Ultimate Guide To Eat-Stop-Eat: Lose Weight, Heal Your Body and Feel Great

Loved the book! Good informative read
This kind of eating has now become a lifestyle for me. Rather than focus on calories or food types, ultimately restricting myself, Eat Stop Eat allows me to simply ‘take a break’ from eating. For me this is a way of keeping it simple. The book does a good job of explaining why it is so effective. I had read about this IF protocol online but wanted to know more. It also has several ways to accelerate weight loss and ways to incorporate exercise with this kind of eating.I recommend Eat Stop Eat as an IF protocol for people who are sick of crash diets, restricting themselves, and want to see success in a relatively short period of time. Do your homework and make a decision based on what works for you. This is a good place to start. Highly recommeded.

Not very good!
I found this book uninteresting and boring! No wonder it’s free. It’s worth reading if you get for free and no shipping. Not recommend!

Very confusing - it discusses in the beginning how different the eat-stop-eat protocol is from the 5:2 diet as the former advises we abstain from food for 20-24hrs a day, once or twice a week and the latter isn’t ‘true fasting’ as calories are limited to 500-600 a day twice a week. So Eat Stop Eat means do not eat for 24hrs or so. However the author directly proceeds to advise on meal plans and supplements to take on fasting days that are relevant to the 5:2 diet only (where calories are consumed on fasting days).. why do this when this book is about the eat-stop-eat protocol which advises us NOT to eat any calories at all on fasting days? Aside from this the book is very easy to read but there’s nothing particularly groundbreaking in there as it’s just a highlight and rehash of other, more quality books on fasting (like those from Jason Fung and Michael Mosley). Lots of generalised statements like ‘heart problems are the number one killer in the world’ and other ominous statements without reference to clinical trials and studies bother me. The focus is all over the place, the information isn’t in depth enough or given proper reference, and it’s obvious the book has been self published. There are several grammatical and numerical errors also. Save your money and read the fasting books from Jason Fung instead.
