how do you use it is there a proportion of miso to water

Hello, I usually put 2 and a half cups of water to a tablespoon of miso. Sometimes when,I dissolve the miso into the water I taste it to see if is too salty or too thin tasting. Best is to add water as much of miso as you like and add the miso one spoonful at the time adding it little by little until you like taste. Then for flavor you can add tofu or spinach . I personally like to add shiitake mushrooms ,tofu and dried wakame. 🌿

Did your packaging for shipping materials come open? Or your actual miso package? If it’s shipping I’d still use the miso!! If it’s the miso bag I’d contact seller through amazon to let them know and send photos. They will replace your miso.
