Debbie Meyer GreenBags, 20-Pack (8M, 8L, 4XL), Reusable Food Storage Bags

These bags are amazing. I recently had to completely change my diet because of prediabetes and it includes a ton of fresh fruit and vegetables. I live alone, and it's hard to buy small amounts - these foods have always gone bad before I had a chance to finish them. These bags fix all that. I have used them for apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, salad greens, celery, fresh herbs like parsley, carrots, and much more. Everything has stayed fresh for one and even two weeks without wilting or spoiling. The first picture is an apple that I cut 2 weeks ago, then again last week. It's still crisp and hasn't even gone brown. The blueberries are from two weeks ago and they're still plump and fresh - they haven't gone mushy and there's no mold. The parsley is over a week old and it's still fresh. These bags really do work and I couldn't eat the way I do without them. The only thing I tried that wasn't successful was bananas and I noticed there were quite a few reviews that said the same. I know some people have had success with bananas, but it didn't work for me. I primarily freeze them for smoothies, so I don't mind leaving them on the counter. These are totally worth it for everything else. This pack had three different sizes, but the large are way too large for me and I would probably never use the medium either. Next time I'll just order the small ones - they work for everything.

These GreenBags greatly preserve the freshness of our fruits and veggies. I used to buy lots of produce and found myself throwing much of it out. Now that I purchased these bags it is a game changer. I love having the ability to store them with the GreenBags and make fresh roasted veggies any day of the week. As well fresh fruit snacks and smoothies happen much more often. The material is perfect, they hold a lot and they seal well.

I have used these bags for at least 20 years and they really, really work! I am able to buy my produce once a week, store the produce either on the countertop for bananas, or lettuce and other more delicate produce in the bags in the fridge and have zero waste. It really keeps the produce fresh. I used to do the banana test to show people, put the banana in the bag, set on the counter and leave it for two weeks and the banana is not spotted or mushy.

I like the bags. They say that they keep fruits and veggies fresher. I definitely notice that they do last longer. The reason I bought them is because the new produce bags in grocery stores do not keep the produce fresh in the refrigerator. These are nice size bags. I gave them four stars because I would like it if they came with a tie, but they say you should not use them on these bags because it can create holes. It would be great if they came up with some kind of tie. I like that they are reusable and they come in different sizes.

Produce stays fresh longer than with grocery produce bags. Easy to clean and reuse.

Quality good, leakproof unless you are careless with it, nice material and works exactly as it is suppose too!! Saves us tons in produce and reusable too.

These have been a lifesaver with my fresh produce! If I put produce in these bags right after I get home from the store or straight from the garden, the produce less 2 to 3 times longer than in the plastic bags that you use at the grocery store for storage! And I just rinse them out and use them again. The medium size for cucumbers, carrots, fresh herbs, small peppers. I use the large size for heads of lettuce, spinach, bok choy, broccoli and then the XL ones are for a large quantity of produce or larger amounts of greens.

I have used these in the past, a grocery store purchase, so was familiar with them. I do think they help keep produce fresher longer.It did take a long time to get them, over two weeks, but sometimes it's like that.

I have been re-using the GreenBags I got in the US for about 10 years in Australia. They keep my lettuce and cilantro fresh for many days, but they were getting worn out. I needed new ones and found them on Amazon. Terrific! I'll be back for more . . . in a few years.

I have used her products for many years and I believe these are what they say they are! I’m vegetarian and I consume a lot of vegetables, so these keep them fresh and juicy! When I bring my veggies home from the store, I wash them in vinegar and let them sit for a bit in the vinegar solution then drain the water and let them sit in the sink until most of the moisture falls off and then I bag them in these bags or her containers (I use both!) and my veggies last for weeks! Friends always comment on how delicious my salads are and I attribute this to my fresh, juicy vegetables because of Debbie’s product! Thank you!
