I bought this inlet adapter for distillation and essential oil extracting, and it's been a fantastic upgrade. The adapter fits perfectly with my existing 24/40 joint setup and holds my thermometer securely in place without any issues.Pros:Good Quality Glass: The borosilicate glass is thick and feels durable. Works Well with 5mm Probe
This piece has worked very well in my 3 neck reflux setup. It was able to withstand pressure with a clip just fine with a 5mm stainless steel temperature probe. I have to imagine it would work even better with a 7mm probe.

Good thermometer stopper
Product came in good packaging to keep it from damage. Looks and feels high quality. Tested the probe grommet and it holds enough with a gentle grip on probe and thermometer. Would buy this product again from this vendor.
