Purchased in December 2024 and was expiry dated to 1/2028. By mistake I opened the product not remembering how easily wheat germ can go rancid but I did tape the opening shut that I cut open and left in my room for three weeks and had recalled the rancidity issue. i put it off until tonight where I would freezer bag all remaining Wheat Germ Product. So I gave it a good mouth taste at this time with about a gram in my mouth and it tastes absolutely wonderful and sweet, just like it would have tasted off the kernel! I am so amazed at the quality and price of this product and I am so glad I made this selection.

I tried purchasing wheat germ from this company, and the smallest bag they offered arrived in great condition and sealed well. I used it to make my everyday granola mix, and it turned out excellent! Customer service was also outstanding. When I had an issue, they responded quickly, efficiently, and in a very friendly manner. Overall, a great experience. Granola Cereal Mix Ingredients • 4 cups rolled oats • 1/3 cup wheat germ • 1/3 cup brown sugar • 1/3 cup oil • 1/3 cup honey • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds • 2 cups nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans) Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, wheat germ, brown sugar, oil, honey, sunflower seeds, and nuts. Mix well until the oats are evenly coated. 3. Spread the mixture evenly onto an ungreased baking sheet with a rim. 4. Bake for 20–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even toasting. 5. Remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool completely. 6. Store in an airtight container.

Glad to have found bulk wheat germ. Seems like it's getting quite expensive. This was good value.

This is the best raw wheat germ I have found since the local health food store went out of business 20 years ago. Real raw wheat germ should melt in your mouth and be sweet, at least from my experience. And it should be refrigerated. Too much of the other supposed raw wheat germ I've tried seemed to be cut with wheat bran. It was not sweet and did not melt in your mouth. I have to admit that the bag takes up almost a whole shelf of my refrigerator, but it's OK as it's THE BEST. I'm so glad I found a source for the good stuff.

Great stuff, and tasty. You can pour a bowl of this wheat germ and add milk to eat it raw like cereal. Doesn’t have to be cooked like oatmeal. Add it to cereals for a huge nutritional upgrade of fiber and protein and other micronutrients.

I’ve tried so many different wheat germ all supposedly raw and best quality . They weren’t this puts Bob’s red mill to shame . This is so fresh and greet flavor and very cost friendly . I also show Guinea Pigs yes don’t laugh !! They are amazing food tasters and this one they LOVE . They will not eat something of poor quality !! If you have furry potatoes you know ! We use it to help their costs drop being dry . Thank you Nature Jam !! Wish you did whole flax seeds !!
