Great service and quick delivery. Nice product. Unfortunately does not fit my Kohler. The “tines” are shorter per the pictures. The thickness of the wastegate is also a problem but grinding it down will just move the tines further away. Kohler doesn’t sell it and none of the big box stores in my area carry it. I put the rubber insert in my old wastegate and it fixed about 90% of the problem (wastegate has some wear too.)

This was pretty simple to install, once I found a YouTube video on how to do it (nothing on Danco’s site). Problem is, it isn’t universal (and I don’t have a Moen or Delta…I don’t know what I had but I’m 100% sure it’s neither of those). Diverter was too large for my spout.

This is a perfectly good product if it fits, but in my case the gate -- the plastic part that the gasket fits into - was too thick to fit into my 12-year old Delta shower spout. I ended up re-using the old gate and just replacing the gasket.

This works great as a replacement part if your tub spout wont stop leaking water when trying to shower. Ours (tub spout) was corroded unfortunately and I had to get a replacement from the company, so this specific part didn't help in our situation, however it matched the new one exactly. I would recommend!!

The instructions for replacement are simple however the plastic was so rigid I could not push the stem through it. Even with a lot of force it wouldn't budge. I contacted Danco and talked with tech support. He said the plastic is manufactured to be rigid and I just need more force. When watching installation videos seems it was much easier to push the stem through without getting a hernia to do so. Maybe I got a defective kit, don't know. The tech support person from Danco said, in so many words it was me not the product. He could be right but I usually have no problem with DIY.

This my second time buying this diverter kit (for different bathrooms). Works great, easy to install. In some spouts, you might have to file it a bit so it fits

We were wondering if we should call a plumber. Im glad i didn't! Found this product in a youtube video to fix my shower which wasn’t working properly. Was able to easily fix it myself. Thanks again!

Fit perfectly, I generally don't have much luck with the 'fits most' (except yours) but this worked well. Price is high for a 2$ part but beats the alternative.

Yes...my shower didn't work for a year, I found this on Amazon and fixed it by myself in no time, easy to install and it worked! I can finally use the shower again
