UltraTech8930 Ultra-Drain Guard, Adjustable Framed Model (with maximum dimensions of 20" L x 32" W x 18" H)

I'm using this product in a lawn drain to hopefully catch all the debris before it gets into the drain system, in the hopes to have to eliminate the need for a service company to come out and clean and flush the system.The product installed easily woth one exception. It is difficult expanding the unit, it kinda binds whlie ipen and closing it. Also, there are a few holes at the top between each velcro which may have the potential to allow debris to pass by. I'll be monitoring this.

Best product I strongly suggest this - remember any thing you filter on the surface does not work, this concept of the sack inside the drain is the way-to-go. I have tons of pine needles getting into my Catch basin and creating clogging problems. This one is perfect it traps everything out and you can use suction-vacuum to cleanout. Excellent product and serves the purpose - but need to check the longevity of the fabric. Though the fabric slows down the flow of the water so far it has survived ok with the Olympia, WA rains. Also all the fine particles that flows in are nicely filtered. Wish they had clear install instructions - I removed the velcro and put it back which was not needed. Easily adjusts and fits; you just need to place it on top of the catch-basin and adjust the frame.Pros - Filters out everything and protects your drain-lines from any clogs 95%Cons - May need to replace the fabric (???) they recommend 6months.
