I spent a lot of time to choose a good office desk and now I'm happy.The main thing that I needed from office desk that it was large, with enough space for a monitor, keyboard, mouse and notebook. Some things you need to know if you decide to buy the office deskIn the toolbox there is only a face key, but for assembly needed of two the phillips screwdriver - small and large.Assembling rather complicated, it took me five hours. Better to do it together with someone from friends. But all the materials are completed, good instruction and all the holes are drilled correctly.This table is very well packed, but the full package is very heavy, more than 110 pounds. Therefore again better get it together with someone from friends.--------But in general repeat I really like the office desk and I enjoy working on it now.

Update in 2023:It's been almost 10 years since I purchased this desk. I am using it full-time as my work desk. It's so durable and sleek. It definitely served its time and served me well. Recommend even more today than in when I purchased it in 2013.Original Review in 2013:I don't know why this product has no reviews. Judging by its appearance, specs and that Monarch overall seems to offer decent products, I took the chance anyway. Must say, I like the design very much. Nice, simple, attractive, and clean lines. Solid and sturdy but quite heavy because of the MDF boards. The hollow core metal frame itself is light. The flexibility of being adapted as an office desk or conference table to spread out larger working drawings when you don't mount the file drawers. Assembling it is straightforward and easy. Kind of like screwing a lightbulb, not all holes are fitted 100% perfectly but fit well enough without hassle. Good customer service. I'd definitely recommend this desk. I am also looking into adding other pieces, like a wall of bookcases to complement this piece.

The instructions to put this desk together were awful! Mostly pictures, vital information was left out that couldn’t be understood from a picture, like telling you make sure holes in panel face in or out, I had to take it apart 3 times to get it put together correctly, very irritating! I do really like how the desk looks! The drawers could be bigger, I will be interested to see how the desk holds up over time

I was looking for a large white desk with drawers for storage, and this desk checked all those boxes. Haven’t spent much time using it yet but feels very sturdy. Well packaged in delivery but my desk top still came with 2 small chips - reached out to Amazon who gave me a partial refund because I didn’t want to go through the effort to return or replace it.I assembled this by myself as a petite girl. It was doable, but a lot of work so would recommend at least 2 people. They don’t provide a screwdriver which you definitely need, and I would highly recommend a drill to make it easier. I also had missing predrilled holes at 3 different steps.Overall, would recommend for the final product but note the potential damage during delivery and the difficult assembly.

The box was wrap in a layer of bubble wrap and a layer of shrink wrap but there was a puncture hole in the center of the box. The puncture causes a 4 inches hole in the center of the table top. Plus the table top is made of compressed cardboard instead of wood therefore very thin and flimsy.

Great desk, lots of table top space, very sturdy, not too bad to put together, takes about 2hrs to put together. One person can do it. Overall well worth the purchase.

I was really excited about this desk and it looks great BUT the holes do NOT line up… with a lot of finesse i got all the pieces in but once it came time to mount the side drawers there wasn’t much i could do to fix it. The center beam that mounts to the bottom is literally diagonal.

This desk is exactly what I wanted. It's big, solid and sturdy, and looks great. Great quality for the price.Assembly is pretty straightforward, expect it to take 4-5 hours. Although it comes with nearly everything, you'll need a small screwdriver.
