great board but know one thing
These boards are used at my kid's taekwondo school. They use the green at the school and the kids are able to break them easily. What I didn't think about was that at the school, they have been through hundreds, if not thousands of breaks - so they break quite easily. These new ones are stiff, and the kids were quite frustrated that they couldn't break them at home. All I am suggesting is that you communicate this fact with young kids, or perhaps buy two, one just below what they are using at at school. That way they can regain confidence in their ability to break it outside of the school setting. After about 2 months, the boards loosened a bit, but still not as much as at the school.

Great board, will buy again
This board is exactly what I was looking for. I will be buying other colors/strengths in the future. It lines up perfectly when put together, with zero bulging or warping. It starts off a bit stiff, so I would recommend that parents buying this put it through its paces a few times (or ask a senior belt in their school to do so) before letting kids use it. The difficulty rating on this is spot on, it is a bit easier to break than a regular 1" board, but definitely requires proper technique, focus, and effort.

These boards are awesome!
Theses boards provide an excellent alternative to breaking pine. By allowing the martial arts practitioner to practice targeting for testing and demonstrations focus and consistency can be established effectively. I highly recommend this product for any martial artist whose studio uses board breaking.The retailer also provided this product quickly , I received in less than a week.

Same board we use in ATA
I ordered an orange board, since that is my daughter's (7yo) current challenge in class. It's the same exact brand we use in class, so I wanted to get something for her to practice with at home. It is a little stiff since it is brand new, but I expect it to loosen up a little once it gets used a bit.
