Works well
Ordered this to control Stick-on LED strip mounted under a 5' floating kitchen shelf. Works great. Looks great. Easy install - just connect to a 12 volt DC wall wart. Fits a standard single gang box.

Worked for a time. Refunded my money
The controller worked but on the second day it flickered and would not work at all. The company responded by giving a refund. Grateful that they sought to make things right.

I have installed several
I use these in under-cabinet LED tape light installations and I think the quality of the unit and accuracy of the dimmer is very good. Lines up well with a standard US single-gang drywall ring. The only thing that needs improvement is the ribbon conductor that connects the touch panel to the terminal panel. It pulls out too easily and is difficult to reinsert. Also, it has a a twist to it which could be avoided by flipping one of the connectors in manufacturing.

Looks Cheap!
Im not exactly sure what I was expecting with this but what I got was definitely not it. It looks extremely cheap, I was planning on installing this on an expensive built-in that I had made. There are not that many choices for low voltage switches, and the photo made it look nicer than it was. I used a smaller switch that was easier to hide.

Quite a good dimmer!
I wanted a dimmer for the 24V LED strip lights I purchased. Having never installed any light strips before, and want to use a dimmer to control lights under cabinets above the counter in my kitchen. I looked around to find one to use as a wall switch. This unit appeared to be able to what I was looking for it to do, and the price was good. I ordered it, and installed it and the lights, and it works well. The touchpad is extremely responsive, and it can dim the lights very low without any issues I've read about using dimmers with light strips. I am really pleased with the dimmer, and will be ordering more to put light strips under the rest of cabinets. The main lighting design I am ensuing, is to use all low voltage wiring to wire all lighting throughout my kitchen and elsewhere. This allows me to run low voltage wires thru the walls, etc. to power the lights, and still use wall mounted switches and dimmers to look and operate like standard 120v units they are replacing. This dimmer fits my requirements very well, and works well.

I like these
1) It does not light up. 2) if you are reaching around the door frame to turn it on there are no tactile cues to guide you in turning it on or off. Those things said, this is a really neat switch. You can either drag your finger up or down on that vertical fade bar or use the left and right arrows to adjust brightness. In my remodel of a bathroom and adjoining walk-in closet I installed low voltage lighting over the tub and as the sole light source in the closet. The lights recessed into the ceiling and the whole installation was easy. Run both sets of lights from one transformer and I have two of these back-to-back in the wall. They add greatly to the "how cool is that?" factor. I am well satisfied and will remain so if these last at least a couple of years. By the time we know, a new model that does light up and has a tactile indicator so you can find the "on" button in a dark room will have arrived.

Works but with issues
Yes, it dims and controls 12v lights as advertised. Can't complain there. There are some details I discovered that may impact other buyers. This unit controls the NEGATIVE output voltage, not the positive. Positive output is ALWAYS ON no matter what, it's like a pass-through. It is the negative side that gets modulated. This is an issue for me as I wired the lamps I intended to use it for with the GROUND wire common on all of them and using the positive wire for control. As you can imagine, this is a problem in a DC circuit, especially mine because I'm sharing the lighting circuit with a ventilator fan. I can fix it, eventually with an add-on circuit to convert the negative signal into positive, I just wish it would have been noted in the description of the product. Secondly, I had to separate the switch from the housing and the ribbon cable is far too short to make it easy to disconnect/reconnect. I ended up breaking the friction clip that holds the cable in place. It still works, but it was all terribly fiddly to deal with. A longer ribbon cable would have made it much easier.

pretty awesome 12v dimmer
I was ready to send this back because it didn't work when I first hooked it up. I was filling out the return information. There was an option for tech support. I had already tried power resetting twice. I figured if they're offering support there must be some trouble shooting options. so I tried it again, and it worked just fine. It would be nice to have a light in the switch but not practical on a "battery powered" light switch. The control for the lights I installed can be fine tuned by 255 steps. I opt for the quick slider option, but if you need to use it while asleep its great to have it set for really low light levels. I installed this is a house with exposed beams. I used 18 ga wire to a constant ac/dc 12 volt converter. The results are awesome. The option was to run exposed conduit and line voltage wiring. The visual difference is amazing. I don't understand why, with the introduction of LED lights this technique isn't used more. not that I'd recommend using it in an entire house yet. But you could run lighting in an entire house on low voltage. and yes I understand why ac is used currently. ie:voltage drops, line loss to name a few.

Easy to connect and works well. Dimming is very gradual at the brightest end and tails off quickly on the lower end, like a lot of LED dimmers. It would be nice if there were an indicator or some tactile mark in the glass or even if the 'slider' reacted when off. It can be difficult to find the exact touch spot to turn on in the dark.

Used this controller to control the brightness of a 6 mtr strip of white LED in my caravan awning roller. Installing the controller was quite simple, but unfortunately havn’t had a chance to test them yet as the van is in a storage facility, but hopefully will get the van out and about when the weather cools off

Led ribbon opens at 100% intensity. The dimmer has no control on it. And yes that ribbon is dimmable.
