Sized perfectly for Confirmat 70mm screws
Item worked better than expected!! I'm using it in plywood, which was not mentioned in advertising, recommended for MDF. Worked great!!

good
works good. I do not like the way it drills deep and head of screw sits half way thru 3/4 inch board

Drill needs to be a bit longer
The twist of the drill bit needs to be a bit longer to avoid splitting the material.

Good quality bit
Used this tool to make a cabinet using 5/8th melamine

Drills nicely through MDF/Particle board, also through fingers ;(
Built a bunch of built in bookcases using melamine coated particle board. This bit worked great for the confirmat screws. I used a long 1/8" bit first with a jig I made to get the screws in the right place and straight. After drilling with the pilot bit, this bit will follow the pilot hole making the hole straight. I tried eyeballing at first, but found that to be a bad idea when the bit went partially through my finger that was supporting the shelf board.

Exactly what I needed
Exactly what I needed to drill pilot holes and countersink confirmat screws in 3/4” melamine. There was some chip out around the countersink, but in my situation the screws will not show.

Well built tool
There are some on the market that are non-adjustable and are reported to bend/damage easily. Not this one! I was at times just replacing the edge-board so by dis-assembling the core bit I was able to insert the outer countersink into the existing hole and use it as a guide to get perfect centering for a new hole. Very useful!
