I read someone else’s review about releasing the tension and another about possibly fitting 1 inch item in so I thought I would give it a try. I released tension on both sides and make it hang my brooms. Other is great for screw drivers and another for my jewelry tools with the last being for my paint brushes. They need stored like this I just have never been able to do it. This may not be the highest quality plastic but it still works great for a lot of things! However after 1 week on the one I did not adjust tension on clip broke from putting tiny 4” plier in it. Not sturdy at all so wish it were

I wanted a rail to hold my screwdrivers organized in my tool backpack, tight enough so they would not fall out of the rail when the backpack was moved. I was able to make the two black rails work for my purpose. I mounted one black rail directly above the other to make it grip the screwdriver shafts better.(I cut off about 1/2" from each end & drilled holes for small bolts to hold them to a backing. For "proof of concept" I used 2 layers of cardboard for an experimental backing board. I intended to replace it with a sheet of plexiglass or a thin sheet of wood, but the cardboard is actually sturdy enough.)The red & blue rails might work okay on a wall, but they would be useless in a portable toolbox - the clips are too loose to grip screwdrivers.

Works like intended. But the quality control from the manufacturer could use some improvement because when I opened mine there was a used cigarette packaged with the tool holders. But what can you really expect for the cheap price point. One of those get what you pay for kind of things.

These are much stronger than they looked on line. I have a set of shelves on rollers next to my work bench. To the shelves I attached the 4 tool holders. The larger holder is strong enough to carry all my pliers and a small hammer. The space for each tool is adjustable so large and small items fit nicely.

I've been looking for something like this organizer to hold my lathe gouges. This product will keep the gouges on the wall where I can easily reach them. I'll use the smaller organizer for screw drivers, and other misc. items. Very happy with the purchase.
