Great Fit! Easy install!
Easy to install. Came with all hardware needed to install. The rubber sleeves took some effort to get on but that's expected. The clamps fit perfectly. Only recommendation would be the Roush emblem on the tube should be painted red, white or blue. I ended up painting the lettering white.

Breathes Better
Kit has restrictive insert to use at the MAF. Instructions say it can be removed for off road use. If it is removed, you will have to tune the engine. It won’t even idle without the inner tube installed. That was kind of disappointing. Otherwise a noticeable gain in throttle response. Definitely breathes better.

Great Value
Discontinued on AmericanMuscle so I ended up here. Best no tune required intake for 3valves imo. It comes with a restrictor at the mafs that you can put in so that you can run it without a tune. You can opt to not use it for more airflow if you can get it tuned. Even without a tune, it noticeably wakes the car up and sounds better. Should only take 30 minutes to install but mostly likely around an hour after inevitably running into a bunch of little problems unrelated to the product.

Didn’t get to install this item
Gotta mustang 07 gt and it fit in the car but the car wouldn’t run with it at all. Kept coking it out. To the point it wouldn’t start. Don’t know if it was the item or wasn’t right for my vehicle. Wouldn’t recommend this.

Careful with screws
Cheap brass bushings pressed in plastic for air filter housing, three screws two were fine the other one I thought I had started ok, got tight part way in and broke quarter of an inch off of bushing. had to use sheet metal screw. Also had to take nail file to MAF sensor hole to tight. Great performance though. all in all satisfied.

FedEx shipping was awful
CAI was exactly as expected. Good product. Fit exactly in 2009 Mustang GT. Other people complained they couldn’t get the fitment correct or parts were too tight. Good grip strength and it works out just fine. Sellers, stop using FEDEX to ship. Amazon shipping is always great in my area. Contacted FEDEX. They kept saying they were just behind and the package was not lost. Shipping was 17 days.
