Does a great job.
I have 1987 5thwheel, it's color is beige with a burgundy stripe. I was obviously concerned about oxidation after so many years as this is the original paint. I purchased this for almost $29. I was concerned about spending so much on the hopes that it would work. The great news is it works very well . My application, was done in mid-70ยฐ temperatures. And was applied on aluminum side that is painted. It removed the oxidation, and left the paint fully intact with very little loss. The shine is amazing for such an old paint job. The burgundy colored now pops out right. And the rest of the camper looks smooth and feels smooth My RV is 24 feet Long. And this bottle of 32 ounces seems about the right amount to do besides and the front and back. Keep in mind that are easily color and oxidation can vary on how much you will need to buff out the gloss finish. For I was it worked out great. It even buffed out the tin doors that are painted on the side for access. Made them look like new paint . I've used other brands in the past and have been reasonably happy with most of them. With a large project like this I was reluctant to spend so much money on something that I was not sure who work. I am very pleased in highly recommend this product. It goes on easy, is removable with little effort and also can buffed out with in areas that are needed. This is by far the best wax I have used in decades, it is the first time using Starbrite products. But now I am sold and will look to use them in the future for my other vehicles including a 1997 pickup that I think would do nicely with this. Thank you for making such a good product. Finally something is purchase that works the way it's supposed to.

Applies best with clean terry cloth each application area.
Great protection for my boats gel coat and holds up well for the seven to eight month boating season. Doesnโt have any harsh abrasives but still removes black streaks. Easy to use when touching up topsides during the season. Goes on easy and buffs out easy, even by hand.

Amazing on Cars & Boats!
Absolutely an excellent product. Nothing compares to Star Brite's PTEFยฎ for painted finishes that are exposed to the elements, though, it really does work best when applied and removed with a mechanical polisher. It makes auto finishes phenomenally smooth, UV protected, and lasts far longer than any traditional auto wax. If you have ever felt car finishes at auto shows or on a dealer showroom, and wonder how it is so unbelievably smooth and slick, well this is how. Road grime and bugs just don't stick easily once applied, and the car cleans much quicker. I also do the windows - it's like Rain-X, but much better. It's called, "Marine Polish Boat Wax", but I use it on all of our cars. I've used it for years on many different makes and models with different finishes - always same amazing results. If you don't use a buffer though, especially on dark cars, it can leave a bit of a streaky look when wiped off. A mechanical buffer really works best for the removal process. If you do get streaks, it generally comes off with a damp rag or the next time it gets washed. A new car dealer wanted over $500.00 to Teflonยฎ my new car before delivery - Umm...I think they listed it as something fancy like, "Dealer Applied Protective Coating" - but it was Teflon, I asked the tech in the back, and then declined the overpriced wax job. Save money and do it yourself. By way of more information, and what makes this product so good, is Polytetrafluoroethylene. Star Brite calls Polytetrafluoroethylene (DuPont Teflonยฎ) by its generic "PTEFยฎ" name, but it's still chemically Teflonยฎ. You don't have to pay DuPont premiums when you don't use the actual Teflonยฎ product/name. It is actually traditionally abbreviated "PTFE", not "PTEFยฎ", but apparently, "PTEFยฎ is Star brite's registered trademark name for polytetraflouroethylene - probably just a marketing thing to distinguish themselves from other brands. This product works great, and would highly recommend it.

Used it on my car.. Seems to be tough stuff !
I contacted the Star Bright company asking for their recommendation (aircraft or marine polish) on my 55 Chevy hot rod. I received a response stating I should use the marine version. I found the best price on Amazon. Today I did my first polish job. During the application, it was apparent this stuff is a bit different than the usual polish/wax products I've used. Once rubbed in, I let it form a haze. Now, there was a slight issue, but probably not the product but rather the fact it was almost 90 degrees out, and with very high Florida humidity, and yes I was not out in the sun. The polish phase certainly demanded more rubbing/work than other products (it was hard to get all the polish shined up). This said, although kinda tough to work with, the final shine and gloss is simply amazing. I can also tell this product will be sticking to the paint for a long time. It's also very SLICK with the PTEF additive. I'll be interested over time how it holds up, however my initial impression is very positive..

Fire/Rescue Appoved!
Last year, we chose Star Brite to use on our 2014 Brunswick 28" Challenger Fire/Rescue Boat. Our boat remains in the water for up to 9 months a year, in extremely harsh conditions. Unfortunately, it isn't housed in a nice protected marina and is constantly battered by strong currents and the brackish waters of the Delaware Bay; nor are we ever called out when conditions are pristine and welcoming. I can say from real world experience that this polish holds out to our abuse. Before we initially started using Star Brite, we called multiple leading companies who have similar products on the market and explained the conditions and expectations we'd expect. A few companies blatantly stated that their product was not for us; and one even stated that we would need to apply up to 15 coats to achieve our results. I don't know if how many of you have detailed a 33" boat before but one coat is extremely hard work. When we spoke to Star Brite, they stated that it would be a significant test of the product but would easily stand up to our trials with as little as 4 coats. After we purchased the Polish and their Star Brite Cleaner Wax, we laid down 2 coats of wax and 6 coats of polish because as I like to say "overkill is under-rated". We put the boat over board for the season in March and didn't remove it till December; other than a few times to give it a quick bath and standard maintenance. How did it fare? The water was still beading off when we gave it a final wash before winterizing it and with a quick swipe of the microfiber still had a decent shine. As I write this review, we are currently applying the final few coats for the 2017 season and the gel coat looks like it did the day I cut the shipping film away from when we took delivery. We like it so much we've started to use it on our front line fire apparatus as well.

Great product but bad delivery packing.
The product is definitely awesome but the packaging for delivery is extremely bad. Mine arrived crushed with the polish spilled out in the flimsy bubble wrap package which had multiple holes.

Wish I had known about this sooner!
I recently bought a 27 year old 19 ft Four Winns boat. The previous owner babied the interior and took great care of the engine, but he didn't know the first thing about hull care. After cleaning the hull with 3M SUPER DUTY RUBBING COMP. 16OZ (see my other reviews), I started the process of waxing my freshly cleaned hull. For the record, I HATE waxing my car by hand and rarely do it. I wasn't looking forward to tackling this big boat at all, but it goes on easy and isn't nearly as much work as I had feared. At first I tried applying it lightly, working fast like I would with a car. After reaching the halfway point on one side I stopped and after a few minutes started buffing it out by hand. When I was done, I discovered to my horror that the job looked a little cloudy in spots. I was stunned. Thank god I didn't do the whole boat I thought. I reread the reviews on Amazon. Everyone seems to love this stuff. What happened? Then it struck me. Maybe I had been too stingy. Considering I was starting from no wax at all, maybe I should reapply and be more liberal. Back to the driveway I went. This time I laid it on much thicker and rubbed it in good on the same area. After a few minutes to dry, I buffed it out to a deep rich color and the surface is reflective and baby's butt smooth. I tackled the job in two evening. I applied one coat one evening before dinner and re-applied a second time the following evening. Both times using plenty of wax to do the job. The transformation of my dry, oxidized hull in just a few days time has been nothing short of amazing. This Starbrite wax is so good, I am seriously thinking about waxing my car with it.

More pricey than I think it should be.

Excellant product
Bought this polish on the recommendation of a friend. I have used it on my caravan to get rid of oxidation on the GRP panels. I used the paste to cut through the oxidation and what a difference (put a little effort into it), shiny once more. Used the liquid polish as a sealer. LOOKS like new.
