Came as promised and packaged well and in great shape. I have never purchased a back scrubbing brush - and I've purchasedMANY in my lifetime, such as this with a shorter than normal handle than most brushes that are marketed today. I have used brushes that have very soft bristles and others that have stiffer bristles. This particular brush has stronger bristles which I like as it makes me feel that my back is really getting scrubbed. As my arms are short (I am short- 4'11") , I always thought the long handle was the way to go. That was before my arms and shoulders were weakened over time, after failed spinal surgeries. I found as my shoulder "girdle" weakened, when I tried to lift a long handled brush to scrub, and push it into my back to do the scrubbing, that it kinda just "flew" around everywhere back there BUT my back. So I was intrigued when I first saw this for sale. Would having a shorter handle, lead to less "swing" behind me or would it just be harder to wash my back , without being able to reach? Well , I was up for the challenge! I can say with much confidence, after using it now for awhile, that the shorter handle makes ALL the difference in the world! I can reach each and every spot on my back by using from both above the shoulder( more difficult for me) and under the arm. Also, I found it easier to manage and get it to the exact spot that still needs scrubbing because it is not simply "flailing" around back there. The "power"of the bristle head, is closer to the core of my body. Anytime one does that, it increases strength. And the pressure I can put on my back to scrub is easier with the shorter brush- not as much muscle effort needed. Therefore, my arms do not tire out as easily. No more "brush swinging" behind me! My Massage Therapist, after years of needing professional massage on my back as part of therapy to prevent further breakdown of muscle strength, recently remarked that the skin on my back "is healthier and has better color" than ever before. She asked what I was doing. I told her and she confirmed, that in her opinion, it would be a more useful tool for someone like me. I just got done purchasing two more as they do not last forever and it is not really healthy to use a bath brush long term- even with proper cleaning. The bristles soften over time and therefore become less able to clean the skin and bacteria can grow easily, if not properly cared for. I have learned by experience, that if I REALLY love a product, I had better purchase a replacement- or when I really NEED one, it will have been replaced by another product! That's life, I guess! And at the price this seller charges, it IS a very good deal to begin with. I didn't want to risk that with my back brush!

Love this brush for the shower. Scrubs away dead skin. Can be used dry or wet with your favorite body wash. I’ve been using it for weeks without any issues. Bristles are coarse but soft enough to use gentle pressure. I like to use this on my back and upper arms and chest in circular motions. Nice and sturdy handle, too.

I love this bath brush. It's a nice quality. It's the perfect size for me to reach all of my back, I'm petite. Other brushes are too big for me and are unwieldy. It has a rope to hang by, a comfortable wooden handle and a medium brush, not too hard, not to soft. I would definitely buy again.

I bought this for dry brushing. Amazon didn't seem to have a lot of options in this dept. and this one looked best. I like the long handle that doesn't come off because I didn't want to worry about it slipping off all the time. It also has finger holds carved in the wood to make it easier to hold on to. The bristles are nice and soft, maybe a little too soft. They would be better just a bit firmer, but they are not scratchy or painful at all. My only complaint is that I wish the bristles were a bit longer. Maybe just over 1/2". Seems to work well for my needs.

I disliked this product. It has an odor to it and the bristles aren't rough enough. Not worth returning. I bought this one because I thought it was going to be like my tough one i bought at TJ Max a few years ago that is still good for everyday use, but not this one. On top of that it is small and so is the head. Also the head is small. Also, the smell coming from the head was really bad even after many washes... Save your money

I bought this to do some exfoliation before I step into the shower. It seems to be doing the job.The handle is a good length (too long is unworkable).The bristles are just the right softness/stiffness for me.Works great for scratching itchies on my back, too.This brush is definitely working for me.

I have an oversize Jacuzzi tub and love this back scrubber. The handle is not long, but just long enough and it looks cute hanging by my tub. Nothing cheap looking about it!

This is the best brush ever to reach my back in the shower - just soap it op and scrub all over the body! Must keep dry after use !!! I left it in the shower and after about 4 months, the casing began to separate in the back and fall apart. If you keep it dry after use, it is very durable and long lasting.
