Nozzles in the center of the head and along each of the twelve "sun rays," deliver an enveloping and relaxing shower. The elegantly designed showerhead is constructed of chrome and solid brass. It attaches to the shower pipe with an attractive S-shaped extension arm. A pivoting joint at the end of the arm lets you aim the spray in whatever direction you choose. The kit ships with showerhead, extension arm, and Teflon tape, and is easy to install and clean. One caution to people who like a hard shower: this is a water-saving attachment that conserves about 2-1/2 gallons of water per minute. As a result, this showerhead delivers a gentler spray even in homes where the water pressure is strong. Pollenex covers this pouring rain showerhead under a limited 5-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde From the Manufacturer This luxurious extra-large showerhead--you stand under a full 8-inch diameter--delivers a pampering spa experience. I would also recommend the Sharper Image style low flow showerhead as an alternative if you are seeking a low flow solution. This showerhead really does act like a drizzly rain, but that is not always a good thing. Yes, it's gentle, but that's not always the best effect for shampooing the hair, either. Also, it tends to keep drizzling long after the water has been turned off, meaning that you get dripped on as you try to exit the shower, or else you wait as the now cold or cooling water drools on you. It looks great and is most impressive to first time onlookers, so it will find a place of glory in the guest bath! However, for the bedroom shower I am going back to the Sharper Image unit, which is very well made, and actually provides a degree of air jetted spray force. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but still not my favorite. *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2008* This showerhead is beautifully made, and boasts a nice wide shower head. The water flow is very pleasant, wide, and soft. It comes with a good S-shaped extension pipe. It even has a nice sound when water flows through it. The Pollenex is my second favorite showerhead. My favorite is the Deluge Country Club Shower head. That one is cheaply made and kind of cheesy looking. But the water flow is awesome. It provides a soft, drenching, gentle, high flow shower. It is like standing out in a warm rain on a tropical island. It also has an extension arm that adjusts it beautifully for us tall folks.I have decided to give my Pollenex to Goodwill, and go back to the Deluge Country Club. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Nice but no water pressure *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2009* It looks nice and if you like a trickle of water (more like a sprinkle than a shower) then you will like this. I dont and uninstalled it after a week. It would have been nice if the product specs mentioned there is no water pressure. Even taking it apart and drilling more holes in it didnt help much. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/14083533-pollenex-dp1005-8-inch-pouring-rain-showerhead-chrome-with-brass](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/14083533-pollenex-dp1005-8-inch-pouring-rain-showerhead-chrome-with-brass) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
