I absolutely love this face mask. It keeps me warm and it isn't difficult to breathe in. I love how it not only goes around the mouth and nose, but the ears as well.I was walking around this winter, and I asked myself "why do I live in a place that makes my face hurt?!" Then I decided to get a face mask. I had the challenge of finding something that wasn't ridiculous looking (ex: skull face), or overly masculine or childish. Nor did I want to come off like I wanted to burglarize the town, so it needed some pizzazz. I came across this and thought it had JUST the right amount of young-adult-female style.I was nervous at first because I wasn't sure how it would take to handling my make up. Sometimes I just have that week where I break out like a hormonal teenager again and I wear heavy foundation and face powder to cover it. Well, this mask hardly (if at all!) picks some of my make-up up. I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised. It is also worth noting that this mask never created nor worsened my acne.Even when I had to literally stomp through very high snow at 5am to a holy-cannoli-my-face-is-being-pelted-by-snowflakes-the-size-of-a-baby-gerbil this winter to get to work, I stayed perfectly warm. Even though it was dark out, this was the only time I had to wear sunglasses with this mask (to keep my eyeballs safe from those snow gerbils), and they did fog easily due to the exhaled air escape partially being around your eyes. I used mine during mundane activities (walking, car-prep, working in a -40F freezer, etc.), and this was perfect for me. However I can't speak for heavy breathing activities (such as snow sports). I did, however, use this mask when shoveling, but I took it off with my coat and everything else as I began to become over heated.This mask's material is sturdy. It isn't flippy-floppy like a sweatshirt, but it goes have the give to be folded. I keep mine in my purse if I think weather is going to get bad while I'm out. A hat can comfortably go over the mask. The mask gives great cover AND plenty of space to see through. Even though I don't recommended it due to fogging them up, glasses CAN fit through the site gap.This is wrapped around your face then Velcro-ed in back. I have ripped a few strands of hair, but that's my fault for not moving all of them first.I recommend this mask. It is worth every penny and then some.

Bought this a while ago and finally got to use it! Went to NY, snowboarded and skied for about seven hours in snowing single digit weather. My head has never been warmer! It blocked the wind that normally sneaks between my helmet and goggles making forehead cold, not anymore! Also my Ears were sooooo warm! Hearing people talk was a little harder since no holes near ears, but who needs to listen to people anyways. It did not hinder hearing oncoming people on the slope at all. Adjustability: I liked that original design has nose opening too small and eye area maybe too small, because it allows you to cut it to size as needed. I widened the nose opening so air went out hole and not into goggles, and lowered under eye area a smidge for more comfort. As all neoprene masks the mouth area gets moist if breathing out mouth or talking, but face was able to still stay warm and I had room to back chin away from touching as needed. Lastly, I wore fleece neck tube to keep neck warm, I was able to pull over mask when extremely windy so air didn't blow through mouth holes, which really seemed to work while on lift to stay warmer.

I purchased a mask like this for my son last Christmas. He loves it. This is my first winter in Montana. It is cold here but the constant wind with the cold weather is a b@*^h. (the wind makes the summer lovely though)I noticed some reviews said it didn't work . I guess it depends on what you are doing and if you are sweating under the mask. It will keep the wind from biting your face.That smell.Well yeah if you have a sensitive nose, I highly recommend letting it air out a few days. You can even run it through the wash, just don't dry it.The fitThe mask I purchased for my young son is too big for my head. This mask seems to fit snug, which I like.The velco straps attach together at the base of your skull. I noticed someone didn't like that. Being a military family, my husband has made sure I know how to use cover straps.The coolCool enough. Although I feel a little like Hannibal.I love these mask. By nature, I stay cold constantly. If you are seriously in need of a mask, all the little quirks you will figure out to keep warm!

PROS: I was a little unsure about how this would fit, but didn't think I could go wrong with the price. Overall, it fits comfortably over the face. The air holes were definitely adequate for breathing, even when breathing heavy. I would not recommend this mask for the coldest weather, but it was fine for temps in the twenties. The velcro closure in the back was fine too. I didn't catch onto my long hair like other reviewers mentioned. The full face cover also prevents sunburn. I like the cute design which is different than either the scary clown or plain black masks out there.CONS: The eye openings are relatively small, and I sometimes had to adjust the fit so that my helmet and goggles wouldn't push the mask down and make the eye openings shift or become smaller; this was definitely an infrequent problem during the 2 days that I wore the mask.There is little neck coverage in the back, so for colder temps, you should make sure you have enough neck coverage with a jacket or other neck wrap in the back. On the ski lift, the cold wind and even tiny snowflakes were able to blow through the mouth-area air holes.OVERALL: I'm glad I made this purchase and will definitely use this mask again.

EVERYONE asks where I got it. It is by far, the BEST, most least inexpensive item I've purchased that is a MUST have in Cleveland winters.

I purchased this to wear to work as i work outside. it does great for keeping my face warm and blocking the winds. however i wear glasses and i am unable to get my glasses on a secured while wearing this, so there is that tiny problem. but it works great for the purpose and is very durable.

Excellent face mask for wear in the cold. I tend to be prone to frostbite and haven't had an issue this season when wearing this face mask. Adjustable due to Velcro closure at back.

So so, not the best product for the winter, but it works.

Kids do not wear them, because it fogs their ski goggles and wind comes through the mouth holes.
