If you're looking for gray, smooth pebbles, these are for you. I used them for the paths in my gnome village. Nice contrast to the white pebble next to the paths.

I bought these for inside planters, in a humid room with a hot tub. They are beautiful and keep little bugs from breeding in the soil. I will order more to have on hand.

Preface - I've purchased 3 tons of 1/2 - 1 inch black Beach pebble from this vendor. (sample picture attached)Outcome: ImpressedMeasurements: we filled 250 Sq ft (4 inch joints) at a depth of 3 inches with 3 tons. I did two different calculations based on the provided measurements with one projecting 1.75 tons and another at 2.5 tons.... They were both under esp if you want the joints properly filled post settlement. I recommend a slight overfill.We saved significant money ordering the rock from these guys - bids were around $6k through our landscaper with labor and $4.5k through local hard scape purveyors delivered to the door. Given the current price of $1k per ton (with our own labor and muscle stiffness) we made out like bandits.The rocks traveled from California to New Jersey via rail in approximately 1 week. They were delivered locally by a FedEx Freight semitruck with a driver who was more than accommodating getting the pallets where they needed to be. (sample picture attached)My only detractors - the third ton was full of seaweed and our backyard smelled like low tide for a couple of days. Additionally from the same third ton, we had to remove 20-30 lbs of off color (tan) rocks (sample picture attached)... Given these are 'hand picked' I would have expected better.Overall - highly recommended.

Box was heavy, but product was excellent and looked perfect for the area in which I used them.There was a problem with delivery date, but customer service was fabulous. Quick response.

I ordered the 20lbs of stones in the size .5inch to 1 inch to use as top-dressing for my various houseplants. My order arrived super quickly and securely packaged. However, the stones themselves were much bigger than I expected. (See picture- Average stone width was 1-3 inches.) I reached out to Yard Elements to ask about a different size. They recommended the 3/8inch size and got it in the mail, and got me a tracking number the very same day. A few days later my heavy lump of a package arrived with new stones in the perfect size for my houseplants. Mistakes happen, but caring about fixing them is key! Thanks you guys!

Used these rocks in my garden. They look pretty and do the job.

This is the BEST aquarium gravel I have ever owned in 50+ years. Beautiful, Natural and pretty clean. Small pieces of gravel, agate, shells, coral etc. Just beautiful. Beige overall in color, with accents of the color of beach sand. Stones are beautiful. Small gravel to larger stones about 1". I found one about 2" and it has beautiful flecking. Will purchase again, if needed for another tank. I bought 40# for my 40 gal aquarium, and it is perfect, with about 2" of gravel on the bottom. Most happy and pleased with this purchase. YOU will love it also.

To be honest, I ordered these because my local hardware store was out of all landscaping rock - every size and color. So I thought, let's see what I can have delivered? I have to say I'm disappointed. The pebbles themselves are beautiful, and I received the correct size. However, I placed my order under consideration of the coverage guide provided by the manufacturer - with each 40 lb bag of rocks providing 3 sq ft of coverage.I ordered 120 lbs of rocks, and barely was able to cover an area of 3 sq feet in a single layer of pebbles. I'm not sure what I expected when I saw the small boxes they arrived in. Each box having two, 20 lb bags inside that were not nearly as large as expected based on the coverage guide.This was a relatively expensive risk, and shipping was very lackluster. The pebbles were scheduled to arrive in about a week, and I received a notice that they were out for delivery on the expected date. Then I received a notification that they were late, all tracking info was erased, and a new delivery schedule was provided. And they still arrived outside of the new delivery schedule. I guess I'll check back at my local hardware store to finish filling in the area I had these planned for - because I am going to need more, and these are not the answer.
