Really Good Product
I had my reservations, but was pleasantly surprised by the ease of installation. After getting accurate and level measurements on the bottom clips, the top ones were very forgiving for mistakes. Just be sure the top of the bracket is not higher than the top of the mirror. You can always have the clip up a little. You don't need to slide in the clips at the top til the mirror is in place. We didn't need the cardboard inserts. Despite a little room, the mirror stayed in place perfectly and looks flush with the clips and close to flush against the wall. And the clips are more of a brushed nickel color not the copper the picture shows.

Best Buy Yet! Easy System
We needed these for a very large bathroom mirror (takes up an entire wall) that was original from 1971. After a difficult time removing it for a renovation we needed an easier system to put it back up. Nothing would have been easier than this system.

High quality, easy to install, mostly hidden
These were nicely made, and super easy to install. I was installing my mirror on a thinner closet door, so had to buy a shorter screw for that, but it worked great! They perfectly fit 1/4" thick glass - not sure why some reviewers said they were too big. I trimmed down the cardboard pieces that keep the mirror from scratching - they are oversized and don't look good that big. So I trimmed to fit.

Clips
I like them I wish it was more that came in the package instead of just 4 clips but very easy to work with

Solid, easy to install and reasonably priced
My existing bathroom mirror used these mirror clips so there was no mystery on how to install them. That was fortunate, as the instructions weren't perfectly clear. I bought this new set instead of scraping two layers of paint off the existing set when installing a new mirror. All four clips are adjustable. It would be simple to have a non-adjustable set for the bottom clips but that would require different manufacturing tooling. Instead, the bottom clips are made non-adjustable by installing mounting screws through the base AND the sliding clip. For the top set, a mounting screw is only placed through the base, so the clip can be moved up to clear the top of the mirror and then pushed down to engage the top of the mirror. Hopefully, the attached image explains it. I used drywall screws for the base and the supplied screws to pass through the base and clip on the lower clips.I did trim down the supplied cardboard anti-rattle shims so they weren't visible outside of the clips. The install of a new 40" x 48" mirror was a piece of cake after ensuring the bottom clips were leveled and the upper clips were mounted high enough to be above the mirror when extended. I pre-installed the lower shims before inserting the mirror and then slid in the upper shims before sliding the clips down into position. Having a second set of hands definitely helped.

Good brackets. Terrible screws
I ordered these to mount a 42x48 mirror onto a wall using studs. These brackets seem sturdy enough to do the job and easy to adjust. The screws that come with are a joke though. They are either an inch or an inch and a quarter long. They are also number 10 diameter screws with a number 6 head to fit into the recess that sits behind the adjustment clip. The screws are way too short to go through drywall then have any holding power in a stud. I had to go to my local hardware store and buy some bugle head number 8 two inch deck screws. These sit into the recess low enough and will have enough shear strength to support the heavy mirror. They also don’t ship this with any kind of drywall anchor. The manufacturer needs to include anchors and either make the screws longer or not use proprietary screws.
