Same as MAC Tools
This is the same as the mac tools truck inflator (with a blue backlight unstead of red.) i use it daily at a busy shop and its holding up awesomely. This is a great inflator for the price! It works and feels great... I can't recommend it enough. (i did change to a good locking chuck on the end but that is personal preference) just get it ull be glad u did. Everyone loves this thing

A Good Bit of Gear.
Able to display pressures in all the units you'd ever need (PSI and Bar are my most used ones) to one decimal place.Seems to have a flow restrictor in the valve head which makes putting large volumes of air into the tyre a slow process with the trade off being the ability to creep up on a target pressure without too much overshoot. The unit has a very good valve stem seal as well, and there is no "phuuuttt" sound of air loss when the chuck is removed from the valve stem. Seems well engineered for the money and I hope it will be the last tyre inflator/pressure gauge I'll ever need to buy, assuming it is as robust as it appears to be. How accurate is the read-out? Just have to trust it, I guess.

Fantastic upgrade from the Astro Pneumatic 3018
I've been using the KTI inflator for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with the product.I purchased this to replace the Astro 3018 which was very inaccurate (+/- 6 psi on the 94 psi motorhome tires, +/- 4 psi on the motorcycle and trailer tires @ 38 and 35 psi) and also featured a very difficult to change battery. The KTI-89001 has easy to change batteries and has proven highly accurate. Using the same truck tire chuck and right angle chuck I used with the Astro, the KTI consistently reads within 0.1 PSI of my calibrated digital tire gauge. Now, being able to rely on the reading from the inflator, I can avoid the back and forth nonsense I had with the Astro.Pros: Easy to use, accurate, straightforward battery access, compatible with standard compressor couplings, seems rugged.Cons: None.

Excellent inflator
I've tried just about every other tire inflator from 10 bucks to 40. All of them have leaked right out of the box or needed fannagling to work right. This unit worked perfect right out of the box and haven't had any issues so far. The only complaint I have is that the rubber hose is very stiff and hard to adjust around where you need it. But I'll easily overlook that because of the unit quality.$60 is hard to swallow for a tire inflator, but if it will work right the FIRST time and stay working right, I'll pay it.Will update review if anything changes.

Great, until it wasn't.
This has been a great gauge for light duty use in our shop. It probably gets used once a week on average, and we've had it just about 4 years. It's been flawless... until recently when a seal inside the digital gauge head failed, allowing air to leak out of a tire as soon as the inflator chuck is attached to a valve stem. It dumps about one psi per second. There's no way to service or repair the seal, and K-Tool does not offer any replacement parts except for the hose. Their warranty is 12 months and I am well outside that window. Unfortunately it's a case of what is probably a $.05 part that's led me to throw away a $70 tool.

The perfect air inflator with an easy modification.
I removed the long chrome inflator tip and replaced it with a Coilhose Pneumatics CH15 Closed Lock-On Chuck, 1/4-Inch FPT (also sold by Amazon). Now inflating tires is soooo easy. The lock-on chuck holds the hose on the valve stem while I stand up (yes stand up) and precisely inflate the tire one handed. The lock-on chuck easily seals with no air leaking. Squeeze the inflator handle all the way and fill the tire. Release the handle and you can see the pressure read out. If you release the handle half way you can bleed out any extra air, then release the handle for a pressure reading. Well built and worth the price. Wish I had one long time ago. Best price anywhere from Amazon, and of course prime shipping is the only way to go. .Update 3/7/18: I bought a different one with a longer hose but it was defective. So I went back to old reliable and purchased a second one. This inflator is the best I have found yet. All the connections come apart and are interchangeable (unlike others). I've included a picture to show how I beefed it up. I always use LOCTITE 545 pneumatic thread sealant, NOT Teflon pipe tape.
