Bought 2 of these to change the colour of a Tetrad leather footstool (large), from tan to black. The dye went further than expected, and one bottle was enough to do the job, brilliant with a little left over. I applied it with a very good quality 1 inch paint brush, and the absorbency was excellent. When dry I gave it another coat -excellent result, About one third of the second bottle remaining. Have to add that I did a lot of preparation in order to achieve the result that I am so pleased with.With a job like this the preparation is so important. Work in a well ventilated area, and wear protective gloves.
