Tight fit. Sturdy. Good value for the money.
I originally planned on returning this item because I was having trouble getting in on my gun. It was so tight fitting that I was afraid that I might damage it or the slide while trying to install it. I tried putting it on my Glock 26, 32 and 34. All had the same issue. It would go in about 1/3 of the way and then it didn’t want to go any further. I watched a YouTube video and read several reviews and all said that you had to beat it in pretty hard to get it to seat. I wrapped the slide up really good and put a small wooden block on the side of the mount and used a heavy hammer to beat it in. And I mean beat it in. It took several hard whacks to finally get it all of the way in. I even put a drop of oil in the dovetail channel before I started thinking that it might help. It centered up well and I mounted a Crimson Trace cts-1300 on it. I shot 34 rounds through it and it held tight. I can bet that it ain’t going anywhere. My only concern is if I ever want to take it off, how hard will that be? It is too wide to use a traditional sight pusher so I guess I will have to use a copper punch and hammer. The kit comes with all of the mounting screws that will fit several different sights. The Burris screws tightened my Crimson Trace down just right. Screws already have blue Locktite on them. I went ahead and ordered another one that will accommodate the rmr/ Holosun type since I think that I want to put one of them on another Glock. This is the best option if your gun is not MOS ready and you don’t want to spend $150 to get your slide milled. The sight does sit a little higher than if you did have it milled but the ability to go from gun to gun, if you wanted to, makes this mount an economical choice. I am happy with it so far.

Solid adapter plate for my gen 3 G20 sporting a BFF3
Well made optics adapter plate for my gen 3 G20. Installed with ease using a rear sight tool. The plate is super solid and provides a seamless mount for my BFF3.

Worth your money, good product
This is my second purchase of red dot mount for my glock 19. The first time I bought a $15 mount but it started to loose after about 50 rounds. I think the design is not strong enough because the dovetail and mount blocks are installed apart. Then I found this one-piece design mount. I look at the description and reviews, all the reviews are very good except one that makes me very confused. That review said this mount sits above the slide. I consulted the seller and they told me that the design could not eliminate the gap between plate and top of the slide, but it could be minimized. All products now have a tighter dovetail design that minimizes the gap. They also told me that if I was worried about the firmness of the mount after the installation, I could use a rubber hammer to hit it casual. If there is any damage or looseness, they will send me a new one. Of course, I will not do this. I am afraid that will be damaged my slide, lol!!! They did a great job on new products, fits very well. It took me about 5 minutes to install, very easy to install. Now hundreds of rounds through it, very sturdy, I am very satisfied.

Simple but quality-machined hardware.
I got this to install a Vortex Viper on my Glock pistol. It came with an assortment of screws and a couple small allen wrenches - everything needed. It's a precision-machined piece; slid into place and fits flush against the top of the slide. There are less expensive alternatives, but I'm happy I went with the DPP. Recommended.

Fits snug and perfect on Glock platform
So with various optic plates on the market, this one worked perfectly as long as you have the right tools. the issue you will encounter is the optic screw lengths and it is determined by the price you get. i had to shave the bolts that work for my optic to ensure a good fit without compromised the plate or the security of the optic. i recommend this product confidently for the fit and function!

Great value to mount a dot
Mounts fairly easy and holds zero well. Sits pretty low but also quite far to the rear of the slide. Regardless, great option to mount a dot to a non optics ready slide for not too much money.
