You can use this glue, remember this is hot glue, it will glue just about anything I would think. I use it to glue floral stems in grapevine wreaths. These books are they for your on personal use or books to be sold? If you will be selling these books you may want to google the right glue for your books. I try not to put too much in and add if I use more than expected.
