This is a boyzer of a toothbrush! I bought it because my dentist said to buy a plug in electric and this one was loaded with options on sale very reduced. It talks to my phone, telling me which teeth I’ve missed. I think that lasted 4 days before I quit using that feature. It has different modes like polish & tongue scrubber etc - I keep it on high as my gums need a workout. It lights up if you press too hard, it flashes every minute, as you aren’t supposed to brush too LONG (make up your mind- brush hard, no, longer, shorter, better, softer, ) anyway, this tells you in no uncertain terms! The battery life is good - it’s lasted days without being recharged with my son using it too (the heads are normal oral b interchangeable heads). It even has a cool case to take it traveling & a cord to charge it with your PC.

I really like this toothbrush. The light on the back that flashes red when you press too hard is cool. I mainly use the daily clean, whitening and tongue modes. The app is pretty cool, I've used this brush for a couple of weeks now and battery life is good I probably get 4 days up to a week. I used the app more at the start, now I can't really be bothered. It was what initially made me pay more for this particular brush (I'm a massive techy) but the brush does a nice job of vibrating when the 2 mins are up so I don't feel like I NEED it. My teeth do feel a-maz-ing! So clean and tingly after I've used it! I have noticed a difference in plaque and general whitening. I clean twice a day and it's getting there. I think after several months it'll be so much better so I'll see how it goes. The heads are pretty easy to buy. I got a spare pack of 12 on amazon cheap enough. Brush is a lovely weight, feels nice and grippy on the back. Stays clean, love the charging case. I always put it back in its case and plug in beside my bed every few nights. Never have a problem with charge really. Overall I think yes its pricey but it's the best brush I've ever had. I'm glad I bought it. -I don't think you should get it if you just like the look of the app as you may go off it eventually. But yeah, great toothbrush!

The Oral-B Genius X toothbrush gives a powerful cleaning experience. But first things first, I opted for this model as the product description on a side by side comparison of features on the wider Oral-B page and the photos shown (fifth photo as of today) for this model give the impression that you get the charging travel case which I thought would be a great option to have. However what you get is in fact a cheap flimsy white plastic case (that probably cost pennies to make). Not the powered charging case shown. That said having investigated these further found that probably not as much of a great concept as first thought in that it needs a special power adapter and basically just acts as a sealed charging pod. Not a power bank or usb connected charger. Though disappointed not to get all the products I thought I was buying I decided to keep the toothbrush anyway. The Genius X is a powerful rechargeable toothbrush will a oscillating rotary head (one supplied which in my package was a crosshead brush). The choice of 6 programmes (Daily Clean, Pro-Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Care and Tongue Cleaning) seems varied but in reality as pretty much the same with just the power turned up for the pro clean and down for sensitive settings. And slightly slower rotations for gum and tongue settings. It could do with a variable intensity control. I have had no problem installing and running the Oral-B app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and connecting the toothbrush with it. The app provides useful feedback on areas covered (or more importantly not covered) and where too much pressure is being applied. This pretty much matched the areas of brushing my dentist told me I need to give more attention to. So I will now log how I improve in this. One minor niggle is the why the need for gamification and awarding meaningless badges for use. This might appeal to kids but as a fifty something adult i find it a distraction rather than a benefit. Battery life seems to be less than anticipated on a full charge and twice daily use for 4 days already shows the battery at 55% remaining so is unlikely to make the two weeks promised in the product description. Finally, there was a registration slip in the box that if filled in online extends warranty to three (3) years.

The brush is actually ok however after 2 years it stopped working. Returned for repair and worked for a couple more months then broke again with same issue, just stopped working. Not sure if I can get it fixed again. A lot of money for this product to not work

I was skeptical about "AI" in a toothbrush, but the Genius X has genuinely changed how I brush. The Bluetooth app tracks exactly where I’m brushing in real-time and alerts me if I’m applying too much pressure or missing a specific zone. The Rose Gold finish is stunning and looks great on the bathroom counter. It leaves my teeth feeling "dentist-clean" every single time. A premium investment, but absolutely worth it for the results.

Toothbrush failed after 4 month of purchase.

Overpriced doesn’t worth it. However, the case’s battery seems to be dead. It doesn’t work I charged it for a half day but when I unplug the charger the brush starts to blink like when you take it off the charger. Even when I use the USB port it doesn’t charge my phone, but when I plug the case back to the charger it did started to charge the phone.

This came in a box that was not sealed and was partially open. Having used the toothbrush for the last month, it doesn’t charge properly. I’ve charged it overnight and then in the morning it is still dead. I’m not convinced it is a genuine oral b toothbrush. I had exactly the same make from the UK before, which lasted me years. I want a full refund b lit understand the “return window” is closed. I think is totally unacceptable given the amount paid. DO NOT BUY.
