Elevate Your Oral Care with the Oral-B Genius X Toothbrush
I am thrilled to share my experience with the Oral-B Genius X Rose Gold Toothbrush, a true game-changer in the world of oral care. This toothbrush not only delivers exceptional performance but also adds a touch of elegance to my daily routine.Right from the start, the rose gold design caught my eye. It’s not just a toothbrush; it’s a statement accessory that brings a touch of sophistication to my bathroom countertop. The sleek and modern design is a testament to the thought put into every detail. The real magic, however, lies in its functionality. The Genius X technology is a revelation. The toothbrush’s sensors connect to an app on my phone, providing real-time feedback on my brushing technique. This feature alone has improved my oral hygiene habits significantly, ensuring that I give every tooth the attention it deserves. The brushing modes cater to various needs, from sensitive gums to deep cleaning. The pressure sensor prevents me from brushing too hard, promoting gum health without the risk of damage. The rounded brush head easily reaches all corners of my mouth, giving me a dentist-clean feeling every time.I was also pleasantly surprised by the battery life. A single charge lasts for weeks, making it perfect for travel or simply eliminating the hassle of frequent recharging. The Oral-B Genius X Rose Gold Toothbrush has truly elevated my oral care routine. It’s more than just a toothbrush; it’s a smart companion that ensures I maintain excellent oral health. If you’re seeking a blend of style and functionality in your oral care routine, look no further than this remarkable toothbrush. It’s a true gem that I can’t recommend highly enough.

Powerful toothbrush, great cleaning potential but misleading product photos
The Oral-B Genius X toothbrush gives a powerful cleaning experience. But first things first, I opted for this model as the product description on a side by side comparison of features on the wider Oral-B page and the photos shown (fifth photo as of today) for this model give the impression that you get the charging travel case which I thought would be a great option to have. However what you get is in fact a cheap flimsy white plastic case (that probably cost pennies to make). Not the powered charging case shown. That said having investigated these further found that probably not as much of a great concept as first thought in that it needs a special power adapter and basically just acts as a sealed charging pod. Not a power bank or usb connected charger.Though disappointed not to get all the products I thought I was buying I decided to keep the toothbrush anyway. The Genius X is a powerful rechargeable toothbrush will a oscillating rotary head (one supplied which in my package was a crosshead brush). The choice of 6 programmes (Daily Clean, Pro-Clean, Sensitive, Whitening, Gum Care and Tongue Cleaning) seems varied but in reality as pretty much the same with just the power turned up for the pro clean and down for sensitive settings. And slightly slower rotations for gum and tongue settings. It could do with a variable intensity control.I have had no problem installing and running the Oral-B app on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and connecting the toothbrush with it. The app provides useful feedback on areas covered (or more importantly not covered) and where too much pressure is being applied. This pretty much matched the areas of brushing my dentist told me I need to give more attention to. So I will now log how I improve in this. One minor niggle is the why the need for gamification and awarding meaningless badges for use. This might appeal to kids but as a fifty something adult i find it a distraction rather than a benefit.Battery life seems to be less than anticipated on a full charge and twice daily use for 4 days already shows the battery at 55% remaining so is unlikely to make the two weeks promised in the product description. Finally, there was a registration slip in the box that if filled in online extends warranty to three (3) years.

Does the job and prefer to my old toothbrush
My hygienist recommended this brand and I wanted the model with sensitive/ gum options and the app. The app I found helpful at the beginning but don’t use as much anymore.I find the pressure light very helpful as someone who brushes too hard - I buy the sensitive bristles (also recommended by my hygienist ).

Highly recommend
I cannot recommend this toothbrush enough. I really deliberated whether to buy it given the price tag but I’m so glad I did. I had a previous cheaper oral b toothbrush and it was fine but didn’t compare to this one. It just didn’t get the same clean. After the first clean I noticed the difference. My teeth felt cleaner as if I’d been to the hygienist. Within one week of using it, the plaque between my teeth is gone. My teeth have stopped bleeding and they look whiter. My gums looks healthier. It’s an extremely powerful toothbrush. The battery lasts ages and the different modes do make a difference. It warns you to move sections and if you’re brushing too hard. I will 100 per cent buy this again if I need to. I won’t ever go for the cheaper model again as I really see the difference. I did research a lot of videos and websites online and it was recommended.

Beware! Motor stopped working shortly after expiry of warranty
I love the toothbrush - when it worked. But after about 18 months the motor stopped working. Battery was fully charged but the motor would not run for more than a second or so.So - thinking I was unlucky and had a bad one, I bought another one in Oct 2023. Today (Feb 2025, 16 months old) the same thing has happened. These aren’t cheap devices and I’d expect the motors to last a bit more than a few months after the warranty has expired. I won’t be buying a third.
