My first device did not work and was returned and the overall construction seems flimsy. Game play is entirely dependent on the group and its interaction. Sure, I understand the concept of "making your own fun", but it is a stretch with the Yoomi. Even the app software leaves something to be desired as the game gives repeats with the first few games. Wait for the next generations. The game says ages 8 and above but we've played with our three year old and he even gets a kick out of some of the questions. We gave this as a gift to a family with three kids ranging from 7 to 15 and the dad says it has been a total hit. I also love that you buy one device and get to play more and more games as they are available, a good bang for my buck.
