Skechers Women's Work: Oswald Clara

Easily the best work shoe I have ever had! I work in the medical field and spend long hours on my feet. My legs and feet used to hurt so badly after work, but have not hurt once since I got these shoes a week ago. They are amazing! Highly recommended.Four years later, I am editing to add they are still my all time favorite work shoe. I have since bought another pair in case they ever go out of stock!After 3 years of hard use they are still comfortable even after wearing for 12+ hours! Bruised, swollen knees are a thing of the past now.I also love that they are very slip resistant on our wet tile floors all spring/ fall/ winter. It feels like they grip even harder then. I absolutely could not slide even if I wanted too.They slip on easily, but have never felt like they would slide off even when I run. They fit well with thick double layer of hiking socks in the winter as well as a thin summer sock.Well done Sketchers. This shoe is a winner for me!

I normally wear a size 7.5, so since these shoes don't come in half sizes I went up to size 8, they arrived and were far too large and reminded me of clown shoes. I returned them for a size 7 hoping for a better fit and that with a smaller size the clown look would be diminished. Unfortunately the smaller size did not eliminate the clown shoe vibe. Also even a size 7 was a bit too loose even though I usually wear a size 7.5! These shoes are made out of a flimsy foam like material that offered little to no support. I was highly disapointed with these shoes and returned them for good. I would not recommend these shoes to any one.

I’ve worn Skechers for years, love them! But, due to a recent change in my circumstances, I was in need of true slip resistant shoes. For over a month and a half, I ordered every pair of Skechers “work” shoes available. Their slip resistance was amazing, but for a gal that has a high instep, they were no good and there was no way I could have stood on my feet all day in any of them. Until I finally found the CLARA CLOG! So good that I immediately ordered a second pair. If you have a high arch AND a high instep, THIS is the non-slip shoe for you! Buy two, you won’t be sorry!

This is a molded plasticky shoe with a non-slip sole.You can slip it on and that's why I bought it—shoes to slip on quickly to wear outside.It runs a bit small. The size is listed on the box as "Size 9/39." Women's US size 9 does not really correspond to European size 39, so the sizing is a little off.I normally wear an 8.5. I ordered a 9 for room for heavy socks.It fits quite snugly for a US women's 9, so order up.Styling is the usual Mickey Mouse shoe shape. The sole is truly non-slip.It will do. Good price, fast delivery.

I absolutely love the look of these shoes but I've worn them twice to work now & the first time I made it about 4 hours then I was read to rip them off cry & crawl around work because my feet hurt so bad. Luckily I had taken my old pair with me & was able to change them. Unfortunately that was not the case last night because I 4got my old shoes at home. I do know it was a safety hazard but I had to take them half way off my feet & walked around looking & sounding stupid the rest of the night. I'm hoping to break them in soon or this will b a complete waste of money for me.

I've worked in the service industry for 10 years, bartending and serving. I purchased this exact same pair around 5 years ago and wore them constantly. At some point over the years the non slip soles came off and i wore them down a ridiculous amount. I finally broke down and decided to buy a new pair of work shoes and have been so pleased with this style i bought the exact same pair. Perhaps i just dont remember so long ago but my new pair is snug compared to the old ones but the brand new pair has a very comfortable plush insert, it does however make the fit snug once i put on socks. length wise, the fit is true to size. these shoes are great to work in because the are slip resistant and i could care less if i spill something on them or i have to walk thru a puddle etc. you can easily wipe them off. I recommend these shoes to people in the service industry all the time.

I was looking to replace a pair of Sketchers that I've just about worn out. These don't look the same, but they have the same spring and flexibility that made the old shoes so comfortable. I have to confess that I don't know about breathability. I bought them in a much larger size than I usually wear, because I wanted to wear extraordinarily thick wool socks. The thick cushion of wool may contribute to their comfort.

These shoes were okay as far as back support, but they were a little too wide for my feet (and I don't think I have very "narrow" feet). I work 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week at a hospital in radiology, so I'm on my feet a lot. I tried wearing them to work for about 3 weeks with my compression socks and ended up with areas on the top of my feet that got rubbed by the shoes and turned red and painful, and my pinky toes were rubbed uncomfortably too and some of the skin rubbed off. My poor feet! I tried to give them a chance, but I much prefer wearing sneaker type shoes versus clogs. Maybe if I worked a job where I got to "stand still" for several hours, they would be great but for the amount of walking around that I do they were just NOT for me!
