This crown molding is made from a lightweight foam material, and I used a heavy duty double sided tape to install it. It came perfectly packaged in long box and was delivered to me in a few days with zero damages. I think it really gave the room a nice upgrade! I used this to do a design on my home office wall. It works well. The only thing is I would recommend getting two for a single wall project or more if you are trying to do molding for an entire room. I just divided a wall with this having a color above it and it white underneath. Looks good and holding up .

Cuts and paints easily. I use a 90 degree angle on the scarf joint being there is no expansion or contraction. Rather than a 22.5 degree cut like it use for wood crown. No need for the extra gluing surface. I cut the one length about an 1/8" longer for a tight scarf joint fit. Very easy to install.

First the cons. for the price, this should be perfect. There were small defects on every piece. These defects were a result of the molding process so you need to sand through the primer to make it smooth. This stuff does not sand easily like wood or wood products. I gave up and painted them with a Fuji paint sprayer as is. Because it's crown and installed against the ceiling, the defects are hard to see. The pros: This product is impervious to water and it's installed in a bathroom. It is also flexible which is helpful in an older house with a less than perfect ceiling. It's easy to cut and easy to install. Very easy to glue in areas with no studs. I am mostly happy with the results but disappointed in the quality for the price. I'd give it 4 stars with the defects if it cost less. We considered a much cheaper wood crown from a big box store which was near perfect but not flexible. If you don't need the flex or the water proof feature, save yourself some money and go with that. In case you're wondering, the transition from the wall to the tile was resolved with a thin piece of composite chair rail glued to the underside of the crown before installation.

The box was demolished, multiple ruined items, when returned for refund, it was resent to my location with no refund. Not a good experience.
