Does what it is supposed to do - I guess - check price and generally, buy the larger bottle
Started using this stuff when our water-softener began giving us grief. We had it serviced and the guy who came out replaced a gasket or something and recommended this stuff. We add a couple of caps-full (or so) as each bag of salt is emptied into the salt tank (where the brine-solution girds its proverbial loins for the electro-chemical charge the resin needs capture the minerals). Since we started using it, the softener seems to be working better and better. Oh happy day.If buying it on Amazon, consider the price per ounce. The larger bottles are typically a better deal.
