It is a shame that they have not done real research and discovered that the Hopi tribe had nothing to do with ear candling and that Biosun was merely using the name 'Hopi' to sell a product (in complete violation of The Hopi Tribes request). A simple google search would have revealed this. As well, their depiction of the prayer sticks as Hopi Ear Candles is very disrespectful of the Hopi traditions. What a shame. It is also interesting to note that the authors only seem to promote European ear candles and ignoring the history of the USA or the manufacturers in the USA. The authors used a picture of a USA manufacturer and did not give them credit. This is especially important since the FDA has banned all imports of ear candles into the USA. It would have been nice to see information that pertains to the states, especially since the authors are selling their book into the USA. Since the book is about Ear Candling, it should be inclusive of everyone and not just the European aspect. Ear Candles are amazing and everyone should use them to relax and aid in their own personal healing quest. The authors should avoid misrepresenting the Hopi tribe it makes for a distrustful reader.
