Love these
It’s easy to clean pull out and tap into the garbage can. Very sturdy and easy to use just slip in drain hole. Catches a lot that doesn’t need to go down the drain. After doing dishes I slip it in so it catches what’s in that water. Looked for years for another set and found them here.

This sink strainer works!
I was desperate for a sink strainer, because my previous one had fallen apart - and I didn't want my silverware falling into the garbage disposal. Amazon didn't have my old strainer (sob!) but after hunting and hunting, I found this little O'Malley strainer. It fits perfectly into the garbage disposal opening. It also has a little knob on both sides, so that it can be removed for cleaning. Caveat: don't try to remove it when the garbage disposal is running, because the suction makes it impossible to move until the disposal is turned off.

A clever product usable with almost any sink!
I've used these in my kitchen sinks for years; they're attractive (don't get a black strainer ... looks like a big ol' open drain hole), effective (many screens or little cup types with side holes don't drain fast enough), and the little "axle" makes them a dream to flip over - self cleaning! I was lucky enough to have a spare when I got sick of that lever-operated stopper in the bathroom sink, and it works perfectly (not interested in filling the sink, just conveniently running water.) These seem impossible to find in any store recently, so I ordered a spare from Amazon. Five stars all the way!

Much better than the Fox Run strainer, but with one flaw
I bought this to replace the Fox Run Garbage Disposer Screen (Fox Run Garbage Disposer Screen, Plastic) I'd bought four months earlier, which broke. This white strainer is 3 1/8 inches, which gives it the perfect amount of wiggle room in my Insinkerator garbage disposal.Right from the start, I like this strainer much better. First off, the plastic is thick all the way around. I have no worries that it will break as the Fox Run one did. Secondly, the center grasping tab sticks out out on both sides so that there is no right side up. The Fox Run screen had a holding knob on only one side, That was a problem because the strainer would easily get flipped upside down when a large amount of water was dumped down the drain, and then it was very hard to remove and flip over because there was nothing to grasp to pull the strainer out.One disadvantage to this strainer is that the center grasping tab is not flared at all toward the top but is straight like a dowel. That makes it hard to pull out sometimes, especially if any slick substance is poured down the drain. Flaring the tab is the one main way to improve this product, so far as I can see.The holes are smaller than the Fox Run strainer but still allow water to drain down well enough even when food particles are trapped above. The hole size is another advantage over Fox Run. The Fox Run strainer allowed my kids toddler cup plastic straws to fall through the larger square holes in the strainer. Also, the thicker plastic and smaller holes do SOOOO much to block the sound of my garbage disposal---it's amazing how quiet it sounds with this strainer in.Overall, it is a much better product than Fox Run, and I'm pretty sure will do the job without breaking. If I were purchasing again, I'd now look for one that also has flared grasping knobs. However, I haven't found any reversible strainers like that on Amazon. Interestingly, there are a few buying options for this the same strainer:LASCO 02-4021 White Plastic Disposal Sink Strainer Fits MostLDR 501 5120 Garbage Disposal Plastic Strainer - High Impact, Fit All DesignPlumb Shop Div Brasscraft 322-115 Plastic Garbage Disposal StrainerGarbage Disposal and Sink Strainer Guard - White Plastic - Manufactured in USAGiven my own concerns about which strainer to buy, and my initial bad choice, I thought I should try to help others do better. I even like the white color better than the black, and it hasn't gotten stained at all despite all the staining liquids that have gone through it. If you want a simple, reversible plastic strainer, I don't know that you can get better than this. Though if you find one with flared handles, comment to let me and others know.

Works as advertised
What can I say? It works as expected. We had one of these for about 15 years in our kitchen sink before the plastic started peeling. Now, 2 years later, finally decided to get a new one. Wow, it's white! I like how stuff doesn't catch on a lip like with some of the other mesh strainers. Things go right onto the trap and you just lift everything up and shake off into the compost bin. At $6 a pop, that's about... 35¢ a year. Definitely worth it!

Simple & functional
Love these simple guards - keeps things from traveling down into pipes. Plus, captures food particles . Eventually you have to clean them - To clean, i just soak in mix of bleach & water

Almost perfect but needs a handle on both sides
These didn't stain as readily as another brand we us we used in the past. They clean up easily and fit the sink drain easily. But if they flip over and the handle side goes down, you have to work at pulling it back out. They should have a handle on top and bottom.

This replaced the prior one.
I have used this for years. I accidently ruined my past one by forgetting it in bleach water for to long. Still worked, just did not like the textured it left. I am sure when needed, I will use a light mixture of bleach water to whiten my new one, just not leave it in as long. I purchased another style locally and did not like it. Went on look for another one like I had and found it on Amazon. They last for years. Easy to pick up and I like the pick up is on both sides. Easy to dump into wastebasket and put right back. Highly recommend.
