The Right Equipment for the Aging Weekend Warrior (Easy Set-up)
REP Fitness has out done itself. Great equipment at a fantastic price and great value for all that I received. The set-up/install was easy. Their You Tube video helped out a bunch.I called REP customer service before I pushed the order button. The CS Representative did not try to over sell me. We asked each other a few questions and then determined the 2x2 platform was all I needed to keep up my fitness. FYI - I am a 63 year old ex-college swimmer and waterpolo player with Parkinson's Disease. I need to do something acitve everyday to fight my PD. Currently, I cycle as a weekend warrior, who stopped going to the gym due to COVID shut downs. After cobbling together some used equipment to stay fit, In needed a more solid and functional set-up. Narrowed it down to REP and Titan. After a little more research and phone calls decided on REP and very glad I did.Equipment delivered sooner than promised. Everything was wrapped and arrived unscathed. Install was logical and fairly easy. The rack is extremely sturdy. Lat machine smooth as silk with the addition of a little silicon spray. Bench is comfortable and at the perfect height, moves and adjusts easy. The weight storage rack adds convenience and stability to the power rack. I have not used the dips yet.Not much more than I can say but great product at a great price.

Best value, great service
Shipping: The shipping experience was great for me. I was notified the package was delivered, but only one of the two boxes had been delivered at that time (Amazon notifications don't handle multi-package shipments well). I contacted REP, and they were quick to send me tracking info for the second package. The boxes looked like the UPS man struggled to wrangle it out of his truck. However, the parts were each individually wrapped to protect them and arrived in great condition.Assembly: Putting the rack together is quite easy. My only complaint is that the instruction sheet is a little on the small side which makes it hard to see without perfect lighting.I had socket wrenches available which made assembly easier than using the provided tools, but it can be done with those tools just fine.I assembled it the first day, worked out that day, tightened the nuts again, worked out the second day, tightened the nuts again. Now everything is perfectly settled on the ever so slightly slanted garage floor and remains tight.Use: This rack feels much sturdier when you rack weights on the back. I might end up bolting it to the ground, but as long as I leave 30 pounds or more on the back, everything feels solid. The spotter arm bars and j cups work really well and slide in and out easily for repositioning. The slight adjustments available are perfect for everything from a low rack (for sliding in wieghts for deadlifts) up to a high rack (squats).All-in-all I am incredibly pleased with this rack. I will be looking to further build out my home gym with REP equipment because if this experience.

Great power rack for a garage gym!
Great power rack for a garage gym. Not perfect, but what it lacks in customization, it MORE than makes up for by being easy on the wallet. There are lots of power racks out there very similar to this one and very similar in price, too. But what really sold me on this one is the quality of the j-hooks. Every other rack I looked at in this price range had j-hooks that were welded together. Rep Fitness must have some lifters on their design team, because their attention to detail on this one very important piece is key. You can "cut corners" so to speak on some things, without sacrificing quality and structural integrity, such as the cheap end caps they use for the vertical plate storage horns, or the rubber covers they use for the feet. I appreciate that approach, because it saves me money on things I don't think are important, but you don't want to cut corners with certain things, and j-hooks are one of them. I think they hit it out of the park with these. Instead of welding pieces of steel together, they used one solid piece of steel for the entire j-hook, making it stronger. And they use UHMW to protect your barbell (If you have a good barbell like I do, you definitely want to keep it that way!). One other company does this with their j-hooks. I won't say any names, but it starts with "R" and rhymes with "Vogue".As for shipping and assembly, it came well packaged, included all the hardware, and was a breeze to put together. It comes with “tools” too (see attached pic), but you’ll want to use your own. All that’s needed is a socket wrench and a crescent wrench. 17mm for both. Tighten each bolt down very loosely 1 by 1 until you get it completely assembled. Then go back through and crank them all down.I have a pretty small space in which to lift. So this is ideal for me. Now I can squat heavy and not have to risk serious injury. The spotter arms on this rack feel completely solid. The pull up bar is a little short, but I knew that when I bought it since they list the dimensions. I just have to bend my knees and do strict pull ups. Not a big deal for me, since I already have a pull up bar, but if you're even close to 6' tall, kipping pull ups won't be an option on this rack.
