Puritan's PrideConcentrated Ultra Lecithin 1200 mg-100 Rapid Release Softgels

I normally take 4-6 of the regular ones, but I thought that because I am trying to lose weight, it makes sense to cut some of those calories and just have 2 of these instead. Seems about the same. So I get to eat one or two more bites of food I like.The softgels are the same size as the regular ones. So, if you are buying this hoping it will be smaller...it isn't. That does not bother me. I can swallow 30 pills at the same time with 2 oz of water. That will probably come in handy when I am 80 or 90.They are a bit greasy/tacky. I assume one broke. The regular lecithin I buy used to have that issue, but I haven't had a greasy bottle in years, now.

My hubby and I are taking these for the choline and for reducing our LDL cholesterol. We both are low carb eaters and have excellent triglycerides and HDL but our total cholesterols tend to teeter in the higher than optimum range. We will soon see its effectiveness for the cholesterol lowering when we have our blood draws. We wanted to take it for say a year to give it adequate time Also, very cost effective. Additionally, most Americans don't get enough choline, and as older people, this is important.

These are great but the pill size is large and have a slight fishy taste. However, I still use them and choose them over other brands. Would recommend

What I didn't realize is that Lecithin alone does not improve our brain, it must be taken with vit B5. At least this is what I was told.

No problem with the capsule though it is pretty big, so for anyone who has issues with swallowing an NSAID gel-cap, you won't choke this horse pill down. My issue is that I didn't read the ingredients and missed that it is soy lecithin, derived from "bio engineered food ingredients."

Good product and well priced. Not much more to say about this.

Very happy with Puritan’s Pride.Seems to be working great. Kind of large gel caps but easy to swallow still.

As soon as I opened the bottle I noticed the gel capsules were slimy with a residue. I'm not sure if they were previously stored at improper temperature or why the coating felt slimy. I had concern for bacterial growth on the capsules and zero confidence that the capsules were still good. I contacted seller but no response. I was not confident taking them so threw them in trash. Next time will go to the vitamin store. Waste of my money.
