I started building a back up extruder for my printer and purchased this gear set to complete the filament drive. The parts are machined well, no noticeable burrs or machining oddities you would expect to see. They look like they are made with good material and should last when installed and maintained properly. I have since replaced my stock extruder with the one using these parts and no noticeable differences have been noticed other than the calibration. I am quite happy with these and would definitely buy from this company again.

The plastic gears in my Neptune's extruder were getting worn. I saw a post on Reddit about the MK3 gears being the same. I ordered this set and it fits like a glove. I plan to order another set to replace the plastic gears in my other Neptune soon.

Everything you'll need for a Prusa MK3 extruder - throw in magnets and a ball bearing and it works for the MK3S as well. These are good quality. Had to clean up the threads on the drive gear with a tap but I may have cross threaded the grub screw on the first attempt so I'm not sure it's the manufacturers fault. Into my second print now and all seems well - about to buy another set to replace worn gears on another printer. Prior purchases from other vendors resulted in premature wear which causes uneven extrusion and inconsistent retractions - So far these seem good but time will tell. I don't expect them to hold up as well as the real deal from bondtech but for a third of the price, I'll be happy if they last half as long.

Needed to get my Prusa MK3 back up and running and lost a spring. Ended up replacing the whole assembly with these parts and it's been working fantastic.

Prusa accessories are really hard to come by. Especially the smaller parts that are part of the extruder. So I feel really fortunate to have found this kit - and already had the chance to use it. And everything fit perfectly, just like the original Prusa parts.

Got me up and running

I was having problems with my Prusa MK3S as my filament would stop going through an hour into a print and TPU filament wouldn't even go though without my unloading from the spool. I replaced with these parts and no problems since with my ABS, PLA, PETG, or TPU filaments.

The gear machining are high quality, springs are correct, screw are the right size, but these were completely unusable for me. The picture shows a courser tooth cut (where the filament is pinched) but what I received was cut to an M3 tooth profile. While that may work for some people, it led to slippage and grinding in my Prusa. I could not get a good print out of these. Is a small bit of grinding occurs the small teeth just fill up with plastic and it stops pushing filament through. Just replaced them with a different set with the course tooth profile and it works flawlessly. Everything is awesome with this set except, arguably, the most important part. It can’t grip filament!
