I am absolutely amazed by this powder foundation. I will admit I have always been skeptical about powder consistency makeup and never used any of it, until I recently tried the bare minerals powder concealer and absolutely fell in love with it. That prompted me to try this foundation too. I’ve been using bare minerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer and loved it always but since the powder concealer was so amazing, I figured let me try the foundation as well. I used it today for the first time and it’s amazing. I don’t even understand how it does what it does but it works. I’m 49 and I have wrinkles especially around my eyes, because I have always had under eyes bags (hence the concealer) . My skin is decent. I use Tretinoin regularly but it is the skin of a 49 yo woman going through all kinds of changes iykyk! It’s been years since I’ve used foundation because they simply didn’t work for me anymore. Looked worse, rather than better(hence the tinted moisturizer) or felt way too heavy on my skin, especially during long and humid Houston summers. This does! When applied with a fluffy brush, it just somehow melts into the skin and provides a very good amount of coverage without being obvious. It doesn’t settle or crease (I did use a setting spray) . It is super easy to apply. Even for someone like me who used a powder foundation for the first time ever. A little goes a long way, and you do need to make sure the brush picks it up fully. I put a little bit of it into the lid, twirl the brush around, until everything is picked up, tap the access off and just buffed it onto my skin. Effortless. And completely mess free! I was feeling very brave (or crazy lol) and applied it today while wearing a white silk top. Not a speck of it was on the top, not even at the neckline. That alone makes this product a keeper! Color match is great. I use cashew in tinted moisturizer and some online research told me that my shade in this foundation is 08 Light. It was right. I don’t want full coverage, but I do think this is buildable if buffed in well. My skin is combo and it is not sensitive so I can’t speak to that aspect of it. Possibly the biggest win for me is that I don’t feel it on my skin. Houston is very hot and humid right now and for 6 months out of the year. This feels like wearing nothing at all. Because a little bit goes a long way, the container will last a very long time which makes it a very good value for the money imo. I highly recommend this especially for those of us who are having trouble finding a liquid foundation that works for, uhmmm mature skin impacted by everything that perimenopause brings with it, again, iykyk! Fyi. I applied the sunscreen on top of my regular skincare products, then applied powder concealer by the same brand and then the foundation. It all jived very well.

You can’t go wrong with Bare Minerals. I’ve been using this product for years. Easy to apply, light weight, good color and coverage.

I’ve been using this as a light everyday base, and it gives a soft, natural finish without looking heavy or overly matte. It evens out redness and minor discoloration well, but I get the best result when I apply a small amount at a time and build only where I need more coverage. It does not completely cover darker under-eye circles or more noticeable blemishes on its own, so I still prefer concealer in those areas. I also recommend using a denser brush and buffing it in rather than sweeping it on, especially if you have dry patches. Overall, this is a great option for someone who wants a quick, breathable-looking base rather than full glam coverage.

I felt this was expensive…for me. I bought it with my fingers crossed. I’ve ended up being very pleased. It stays on even under very hot, humid weather without looking shiny or sticky. It remains looking matte, just as when first applied. I like very natural looking makeup, so with that in mind it covers my sunspots and blends perfectly. I can feel it on my face. Not all people will understand that. Only those who are accustom to a natural, light coverage look. It stays on extremely well and is very long lasting. A little bit goes a long way. The finish is natural, not at all noticeable. I use this with no other makeup and it looks fabulous. I think having the correct makeup brush and knowing how to apply it is important. I’m very pleased with this product and will buy it as my skin color changes with the seasons. It’s worth the investment.

For reference I have porcelain/ivory oily skin and have breakout tendencies. Tried this product again today after years, and WOW. My skin looks flawless, offers great coverage, and I don't even need concealer because it covers EVERYTHING. I put on my mineral sunscreen, and then this on top with a normal soft big fluffy powder brush and it makes my skin look amazing. I actually got 2 colors. one for a bronzing glow this summer (medium 10) and the other (05) to match my skin. The color match is right on point for me. I put it on 8 hours ago and haven't touched it up since. It lasts a long time and looks even better then when I put it on this morning. Thank you Bare Minerals.

took me some time to work out what shade I needed. I'm Chinese and a little tanned. Opted for Light since it has a yellow base, and am very glad I did as it is perfect. It won't cover blemishes - I use a concealer first before putting on this foundation powder. It looks very natural

My favourite mineral powder been using it for years. It's quick and easy to use, less messy than liquid or cream foundation. Good coverage but not heavy my skin looks natural and clear
