Ingersoll Rand ARO R37341-600-VS 1/2" NPT Air Regulator with Gauge

I have been using this for sometime now with no issues, I just set it to 90psi and went on my way and so far I have not had to look back. I look at it every now and then to make sure it is still set right and it is right where I put it. I debated on going with a 3/8 but I went with 1/2 pipe so I decided on the 1/2 so I wasn't bottle necking the system. I'm Glad I went with the 1/2..

Great product for the price

Good quality regulator for the money. My only complaint would be what IR charges for the mounting brackets. If yours starts to leak around the knob, simply use a 10mm Allen key to turn the plastic top cover counterclockwise 1/8 of a turn and remove. Inside there's a spring an a plunger. Remove the plunger and clean thoroughly. Also wipe down the mating surfaces inside the regulator and remove any debris (I also used a cotton swab to clean down in the hole where the plunger sits). Apply some grease to the o-rings and reinstall.

I, like many of the other reviewers, am experiencing the same problem. It developed a leak after being in use about a year, so now my compressor is coming all the time. I tore the regulator down and could not find anything wrong. I put it back together and it still leaks. It stopped leaking for a few weeks a short while back, which I guess was good, but then the leak announced it's return by my compressor starting up at 3am one morning last week. At least I can replace and throw this junk away and I'm only out about 50 bucks. I'm sure glad I bought the Quincy Compressor and not the Ingersoll...

Bought for an industrial compressor, had to flip the gauge to the opposite side, and unit was easy to install. Nice piece, feels well made and not cheap like the typical stuff at the home improvement stores.

Bought one of these to regulate pressure going into a receiver tank. System runs at about 155 psi and I regulate the tank down to 130 psi. Started leaking around the adjustment knob after 7 months. Got in touch with IR and they only sent a rebuild kit under warranty, now I have to take it apart, rebuild it and cross my fingers that it lasts this time. The instructions for the rebuild kit that they gave me are for a different unit, but they said "close enough" ... Had they replaced the entire unit, I may have given it 3 stars. UPDATE: I have rebuilt the unit. The pressure diaphragm had slipped out from under the retainer. Installed and working again, but for how long is the question.

Works flawlessly as a regulator. Knob locks/unlocks easily by pulling up or down. When lowering pressure it will vent the excess air. At the bottom of the regulator right above the knob there is a plastic nut that you can use to mount it to a bracket of sort. One issue i have with regulator is that the dial window is made of plastic and rotates freely. It does not affect function in any way but does speak for attention to detail by Ingersoll Rand. Other issue was the fit of the 1/2 FPT threads. I had the darnest time getting good seal with the 1/2 MPT connectors i had. I eventually had to tighten more than you would normally so at the end it was a non-issue but something to note.

Worked like a charm and didn't leak under 175 PSI. Regulated PSI up to the max PSI. Better than my Milton.

Got this for my Train horns needed to regulate from 200psi to 140 psi works perfectly and keeps the high flow needed for the horns works perfectly.

I bought this regulator a short while ago to complete another air drop project in my shop. I wanted a line close to the door so I can drag an air hose outside quickly to work on stuff outside the garage. When it was delivered, I examined it closely. I am plenty anal about my tools so I try to learn as much about them as possible before forming an opinion. This is a pretty simple devise and it does work as stated in the Amazon ad. It is nothing fancy. It won't dance, drink beer or shine your shoes. It's just an air pressure regulator. It does not come with a mounting bracket so you'll have to re-engineer one if you intend to mount it on a wall. One strike against. However, I discovered that it has some hidden features. I like my regulators to have the adjusting knob on top. I found that the gauge is removable. Just unscrew the plastic bezel ring around the gauge and remove the two Philips screws holding the gauge in. Turn the gauge 180 degrees, re-install the screws, re-attach the bezel and PRESTO! The gauge is now correct. Furthermore, the gauge can be moved around to the back by removing the rear air vent and swapping places with gauge. Neet! This thing does Not leak air (Yet! - if you dismantle it, make sure you tighten the screws well) and it works pretty well. So far, so good. I'll post an update it something changes. Overall, a nice little regulator.
