Actually makes a difference.
Nicely made & fits the Osmo Pocket perfectly, it really does make a difference to the smoothness of your footage, whilst walking & filming it reduces the ‘bounce’ quite a lot, there are two adjustment screws (Allen key) which increase / decrease the tension of the up & down movement, mine did require a small tweak to get things just right, there are no instructions included but having said that it’s not that difficult to operate & adjust.

If you own the Pocket, you need this. Simple
This unit was delivered next day to my local locker. It comes in a plain box and is supplied with a small Allen key.If you are thinking of buying one of these then I can put your mind at rest, it works, it does what it says on the tin. It holds your Pocket very securely and even allows the attachment of the bluetooth unit.I thought at the price this would be of printed construction but it appears to be molded. Mine worked out of the box to give a nice buttery smooth glide while walking. With a little bit of tweaking with the Allen key and care in how you walk a hand held tail shot is perfectly achievable. When folded it does afford the Pocket some protection with a single push on the locking button springs the camera out ready for action. All in all I would say this is an essential accessory if you own a Pocket. All we need now is for the Freewell wide angle converter to become available and the this will be the perfect Steady cam outfit you can get, in my opinion

Wish I hadn't bothered.
First, the price is really low for something like this. But no matter how much I adjust it, it really doesn't eliminate that vertical bounce you can get when walking with the Osmo Pocket. I wouldn't expect it to be as good as a proper gimbal, but it seems to make no difference at all.And if I have to learn a special kind of walk to see any difference whatsoever then I'd say the utility of this shock absorber is a bit limited.Right now it's gathering dust on a shelf. I can't see myself using it again.

It works!
I have to say, for the price, I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually works and with a little practice you can get some very good results. The build quality is nothing special but good enough. No instructions are needed, just add the Osmo and you're away. The unit can even be fine tuned for better results.A worthwhile addition to your Osmo Pocket kit.

Broke in a rival - Extremely brittle - weak. Camera could fall out.
Metal and plastic do not mix well. The spring has a lot of pressure on it and relies on a thin plastic bar to not snap. Mine was snapped upon arrival. Put your expensive camera on this badly built plastic nonsense at your own peril.

Don't buy. Awful build quality.
Absolute waste of money. Arrived broken. See pics. The spring is supposed to be attached to a plastic u shaped ring. When I took the device out of the box there spring was loose because the thin u shaped ring was already snapped.Build quality is absolutely awful. Really angry about this.

Eliminates walking bounce in osmo pocket video
Excellent device. Eliminates your walking bounce ‘Z axis’ when recording on osmo pocket. Smooth video content. Injection moulded and solid build. Clip provided so you can slot on to your shoulder strap. Recommended.

Does exactly what I hoped it would!
Great product, don’t take my lamp out without it, really helps take out the “up and down” motion that you get from walking. The only slight problem is the button used to release the mechanism needs help, you have to manually pull the mechanism out.But otherwise a great product!
