Spigen Ultra Thin Air Case for Nexus 5

The Spigen Ultra Fit Crystal Shell case I got from Amazon is listed as SPG10650. I emailed Spigen and they told me it's the same as the one they have listed on their website under "Ultra Thin Air / SGP10661" moniker. Interestingly enough, the "Ultra Thin Air" on their website has 2 cutouts for the flash and camera lens. The one on Amazon clearly shows only one cutout.PROS:- the clear case looks beautiful. It looks much better in person than in pictures. In pictures, based on lighting conditions, the reflection on the clear case may make it look cheap. In real life, it looks sleek and glossy, like a brand new car would.- the case adds just enough weight with not much additional size which makes the phone easier to grip and hold than when it was "naked"- the case actually protects the top and bottom of the phone, unlike the other matte colored options- Taking pictures with flash on seems to work fine even though your case lights up- Power and volume buttons are easy to use since they are not covered by the case- the case offers about a 1 mm lip protection so you can put your phone face down knowing that it shouldn't scratch your screen- I don't really use in-line headphones so I can't test the width of the headphone jack hole... but it looks big enough to fit most jacksCONS:- Though you may like how smooth the case is (it feels like a Nokia phone to the touch), some may not like it. It doesn't have the type of grip other more rubbery cases would give you and will feel slippery- Since the case is glossy, if you are a neat freak, you won't like how easy it get smudges... but unless you constantly look at it in clear light, you may not notice it (at least not so much on the WHITE Nexus 5)- Though it feels solid and tight in hand, if you press any of the sides, you will get a little of give (which is kinda normal if you ask me)- Any dust or other imperfections will glow and show up through the case in the dark when you leave the flash light on- The case does light up like a Christmas tree when you use the flash for taking pictures... perfect for the holiday season... but otherwise, it may not be something you care about.

Let me start by saying that no case will protect your phone from big drops unless it is a otterbox. With that being said let's get started first the good. This case is crystal shell that it is see through, it feels great in the hand. Has just a bit of a raised side to keep it off the table when you lay it screen down, it adds no bulk to my nexus 5. It works great with my google nexus 5 wirless charger. I have used 4 aux headphone jacks on this phone with the case on and have not had any problems. I have dropped my phone from about knee height and the phone was OK. It fits great on the N5 and does not feel loose.Now on to the not so good. The case collects a lot of finger prints and since the case is clear if you use the flash it almost makes your pictures washed out do to the fact that the light is reflecting off of the case. Overall I think this is a great case, with that being said if you take alot of pictures you may want to think about getting another case that will work better with the flash. Other then that this is by far the best case I have owned for my N5

Its what the name describes it to be. But that's about it. Its not touted as ultra durable or super strong and it certainly is neither. After about 6 months of good use (including taking phone out of and putting phone back into the case) it started cracking in certain areas. The bottom is the weakest part with the thin strip of plastic above the charging cutout breaking off easily. The remaining pieces on the bottom followed suit quickly. That being said, I am buying another one.Ultimately, it is a slim, clear, case that doesn't add too much bulk to the phone and certainly does the 'case' part of its job pretty well. Even with an average amount of drops, the phone's body is safe. In terms of clarity the case does discolor after a while and the minor scratches it picks up eventually make it less transparent. Its not really a screen protector per se (although it comes packaged with a pretty 'meh' one that you stick on... its why they say 360 degrees of protection i guess...). Use this in combo with a better screen protector and you're set.

Overall pretty disappointed in this case. Initial so disappointed I filled for a return within an hour of receiving it. But I decided it's not that bad so I cancelled my return.So my issues with this case? Well its hard to take on and take off, and flash cut out isn't 100% accurate so when using the flashlight expect the light to shine back in your eyes. Also the bottom cut out design is terrible, should of kept the open bottom design like the colored version's. Good luck with larger usb cables!If your getting this to get a better grip on your slick white nexus 5 keep looking. The smooth matte coating is a no show on the clear version. Phone feels just as slick it's just bulkier.So what's good about it? Well it is very scratch resistant and will show off your phone pretty well. It's pretty thin and will survive a fall you do get used to it over time.Overall disappointing. I've used it for 2 months now and am ready to move on

The phone definitely looks nice with it. I have the red Nexus and I wanted something that doesn't hide the color. That was it. Yes, it is hard but if you are careful it won't scratch your phone. Mine was fine. And the case doesn't get stained from your pants or jeans like other clear rubbers do. But having said all that I should warn you that it offers absolutely no protection what so ever. I was unfortunate enough to drop my phone 2 weeks ofter I bough it and it had this case on. The screen just shattered. Luckily Google sent me a new one or I would have been heartbroken. So just buy a clear case that is not plastic but is more rubbery or silicone. Your phone might not look as slim but you would still be able to see the color and your screen would be in better hands.

Looks great when brand new, but the plastic will scratch and become ratty looking. Dust gets in very easily, so you`ll have to clean fairly frequently. The case touches the back of the phone unevenly and ends up with a few scuff marks. The fitment is great, but will end up scuffing up the side of the phone if you have the white Nexus 5.

If your looking for a light n slick case, this is the one for you. One of the better options out there ( Coming from a ringke fushion n spigen ultra hybrid)..Pros:* Good value for money* Gives your N5 a superb look* Very light n slick* Doesn't add any bulk to the phone (unlike spigen ultra hybrid)* Decent protection* Comes with a screen protector which is fairly decent* Good quality plasticCons:* Scratch prone. Can get easily scratched. Check your package for scratches on delivery* Finger print prone. Oil magnet. But nothing that cannot be cleaned up by a good wipe* Easy to fit but not so easy to snap it off. Be careful as to not to damage your buttons with constant snapping off* Doesn't provide the best of protection. It's decent but not comparable to spigen ultra hybrid or some others out there

It arrived on time with all all included parts. It's a good fit, the phone does not rattle or move about in it. Slim and clear, good quality plastic. Keeps the phone from being too bulky but still gives good protection and allows the design of the phone to show through. Slightly difficult to remove, but this is as a consequence of it being such a good fit and hard material that doesn't bend easily. If for any reason I ever need a new case I will get another one of these, nothing else comes close for me.

crystal clear, does not add bulk to the phone and very robust.Very convenient as it keeps the original look of the phone as is while protecting it with solid materials.

Amazing caseMy favourite thing about this case is that when i turn the flash on the corners also light up which makes it look like a phone from the movie tron
