Canine (Dog) Complete Skeleton, Standard Size

Not anatomically correct. Needed a model for an animal acupressure class and thought this would be a good reference, however, it's more like a child's toy and definitely not worth $160!! Returned for refund.

I got this as a gift for my chiropractor, who also works on animals. He loved it!

Granted, the skeleton is very "low in pastern" and isn't 100% anatomically accurate, but as a teaching tool for Canine Massage Therapy Certification classes, this skeleton offers a very real, palpable, and visual experience without having to pay hundreds for a real skeleton. Considering there aren't any other reasonably priced options, this works just fine. We call ours Mr. Bones, even though anatomically, it is most likely a "she". :D The students all appreciate being able to palpate the different parts of the bones instead of just looking at them in a book before they actually palpate the dogs plus to see the anticlinal T10 and then to palpate it on a dog always amazes them at how uniquely dogs are designed!

yes the bones are there but this is not a piece of equipment you want to use for presentations,only get it if you can work around the faults

This product is of very poor quality. It is not anatomically correct. I would not recommend buying this product.
