I was put off by the price of this game, but have several patients who are dealing with explosive anger and love dinosaurs so it seemed like something worth trying.Some of the questions are above the developmental level of some of the children that I see (ages 6-8) so I have removed those cards for the times when I am meeting with the younger children. It can be confusing for them as well when I explain that only one stack of cards is used for each time playing the game.It does prompt kids to think about situations and events in their lives that they may be avoiding and it also helps further the discussion around how the child has been using anger to control their environment and/or family.It has been helpful in therapeutic exchanges. I do however believe it is overpriced.

I bought this as a school based counselor to use as a fun way to explore triggers, conversations, examples, and coping skills for my children. When the kids first noticed I had a new game on my shelf, they were very excited to try because they liked the idea of a dinosaur chasing the pieces around.Pros:1. I love that there are six different categories to explore, making this useful and different for many times of play for a kid or family.2. When used with my families, it does a great job of creating family conversation and helps open the family's eyes to reasons under their child's anger in a different/fun way.3. The elementary kids love this game, especially the boys.Cons:If I could change something about this game, I think I would just add more "dinosaur chase" cards as the kids seem to really enjoy this part but it does not occur often enough.

This is a great game to use for children who are having problems with anger management, but also have a short attention span. In my counseling session I like to begin by providing psychoeducation about one of the topics presented in the game, then play the game to reinforce what we talked about. The kids love the "dinosaur chase".

Game is in good-great condition.
