If you can read and follow a diagram you can install. Just take your time. Makes my honda shadow much more visible and looks great!

I've used SD products before and have been extremely happy. But this time around, I'm disappointed. It's a simple installation but that's where the satisfaction ended. The are almost zero difference between the running and brake light. With past units, the difference is very noticeable and attention grabbing. This time around there is maybe a 10-15% difference the two. Add to that the flickering when engaging the blinker and the experience is poor. I've tried to contact SD to get a replacement, but the phone number just rings and the voicemails go unanswered.

There isn't anything to dislike about the Tri Star module. It is worth the money and effort to get it on your bike. For my Goldwing F6B, it virtually TRIPLED my tail/brake lighting which was sorely inadequate, in my opinion. Coupled with LEDs, the rear projected lighting is much, much better! And OMG...wait until you see the brightness of the brake lights!! I got PathFinder LEDs to go along with this module.Not too difficult to wire in. Suggest soldering. If your not handy in this area, it is truly worth having your mechanic install it for you. You're gonna love it!!UPDATE: I just noticed that when the key is on Accessory and you activate the hazard flashers, only the front flashers flash...the rear are dead. Thinking about the wiring of the module, I understand why, but don't like that. I'll have to remember that and keep the bike ON to have rear hazard flashers.

Those modules are simply amazing! Installed on a 2000 Yamaha V-Max 1200. BREEZE!!!My bike has a single filament bulb on the rear blinkers. This module made my blinkers now runs as running lights (stay on) PLUS blinkers working perfectly PLUS acts as brake lights! WHAT IS NO TO LOVE ABOUT IT?I spent some time and soldered and shrunk wrap all the connections just because I don't trust crimps (comes with them).I have upgraded ALL four blinkers on the bike and I had the hyper flashing four way, don't despair, it happens because we only have one turn signal indicator and that thing works as a bridge, so learn with me and as soon as you add this to your cart, also add the ELFR-1 QD module in your cart and you WILL BE HAPPY. otherwise you just need to add a bunch of stupid resistors to your wires that will only piss you off trying to get the right wattage and resistance. Do yourself a favor and go the smart, correct route.

Significantly improved my visibility especially during the low like dawn and dusk time frames.

Worked just as advertised. I had this system in another bike and it truly provides safety, especially bikes that lack running lights behind.

What a great product. My biggest fear is to be nailed from behind. Having the rear blinkers used as running lights and brake lights gives me a little better chance of being seen. Easy instructions to follow for the experienced do it yourselfer. If you're shy about cutting wires, have it installed. I installed on my new FZ-09. Fast shipping. All good. Thank you.

I have no Idea if this thing works or not properly. I installed it as it describes in the directions, but I couldn't make it work.I DO HAVE EXTRA LIGHTS (4 blinkers on the back and a tombstone tail light) I could not make them work properly with this. Maybe with help from the company technical support, but they never got back to my emails or returned my calls.
